It may be running out of shrimp but certainly no shortage of waves
Despite basically being leftover footage that was collecting digital dust on filmer Caleb Graham's hard drive, there is a lot to love about this clip of a North Coast NSW slab.
Firstly, that wave looks heavy yet is strangely inviting and we really want to surf it.
Secondly, the riders in this clip are tearing the spot apart - including a seriously risky invert into a near-dry section.
Thirdly, and perhaps most importantly, That song. Anyone who has watched Chris White's Tension series will most likely have images of tow-outs, public pranks and big wave antics come flooding into their mind in a wave of nostalgia-soaked goodness.
Read Caleb's take on the clip:
"I needed an outlet for the bodyboarding footage starting to accumulate on my harddrives that wasnt shot for any specific projects."
"With an ode to George Costanza, 'The ocean called' was born. To kick things off, here's some footage of a bunch of my mates at a reef we always end up spending a lot of time at. The soundtrack for this ones a nod to Chris White, and Tension 4."
