We are a small team (https://www.botify.com/team/) and work in a collaborative environment where each of us can have a significant impact on the product and the company culture. We compute analyses on very large datasets. Reliability and performance are essential in our systems. Our ambition is to provide useful information as fast as possible to our customers. The product

Botify provides a two-faces product:

Botify Analytics, Cloud/SaaS application (app.botify.com), that crawls a website, optionally fetches the corresponding visits from Google Analytics, analyzes the full dataset then delivers an analysis report with charts describing the site in a macroscopic point of view from different angles (visits, performance, HTTP codes, HTML quality, ...), and a URL Explorer that details the microscopic view (list of URLs corresponding to some criteria + associated data).

Botify Log Analyzer, enterprise solution that analyzes web server logs and gives detailed daily information on the exploration of the bots of the main search engines and the visits on the site.

Your role

At Botify, we like to think long-term and we want customers for life. We’re building a multi-cultural Customer Success team to turn this ambition into reality. As a Support Team Intern you will be part of this team and help our customers get the most of our applications.

Responsibilities

Answer customers' technical questions,

Help our customers categorize their websites' URLs (for more details, see: https://www.botify.com/blog/categorization-by-content-type/),

Setup our app for new customers, help them upload their web server logs to our ftp servers, make sure the configuration is correct and the nightly updates are working,

Help our customers launch their crawls and analyze their data,

Solve technical issues and keep our customers informed about your investigations.

Requirements

You are customer-satisfaction driven,

You have some Linux knowledge (command line use, file lookup and removal, script execution - even better, you already wrote some scripts yourself),

You show a very strong interest in Search Engine Optimization, and you have optimized your own blog or website,

You are a fast-learning Problem Solver,

You have full professional proficiency in spoken and written English and French.
