In the latest video produced by the Center for Medical Progress, Holly O’Donnell describes a medical technician using scissors to cut through the face of a newly aborted but nearly fully developed baby boy at a Planned Parenthood facility so that his intact brain could be extracted.
O’Donnell says that the technician could also make the boy’s heart beat.

Planned Parenthood is working hard to counter the steady drip of damning videos produced by the Center for Medical Progress, but not even the highest priced Washington, D.C. flacks are likely to be able to erase the thought picture of someone cutting through a child’s face with scissors.
Holly O’Donnell and her Planned Parenthood colleague were harvesting organs that day at Planned Parenthood Mar Monte, a mega-clinic in San Jose, California that has an annual budget of $100 million or 10 percent of the national organization.
O’Donnell, who turned whistleblower after leaving StemExpress, said the child was the most fully developed she had seen up to that point. She describes in great detail how the newly aborted boy was rinsed off and prepared for dissection.
Her colleague called her over and, according to O’Donnell, said, “Hey Holly, come over here, I want you to see something kind of cool, kind of neat.” O’Donnell said she was flabbergasted to see “…the most gestated fetus and closest thing to a baby I’ve seen.”
Her colleague then took an instrument and “tapped the heart and it starts beating.”
O’Donnell says, “I am sitting here looking at this fetus and it’s heart is beating and I don’t know what to think.” She said she didn’t know if the child was alive or dead but “it had a face. It wasn’t completely torn up. Its nose was very pronounced. It had eyelids and its mouth was pronounced.”
The medical technician said the child was so intact that they could “procure a lot from it. We’re going to procure a brain.” The tech told O’Donnell they would need to “go through the face.” The medical tech took scissors and cut through the child’s lower jaw up through the mouth. O’Donnell was directed to cut the rest of the way through “the middle of the face.”
“I can’t even describe what that feels like,” said O’Donnell. O’Donnell had to take the boy’s remains and put him in a bio-hazard container and “then I realized I was the only person ever to hold that baby.”
“That was the moment I realized I couldn’t work for [StemExpress] any more,” she said.
The latest video is both the least graphic and the most graphic video produced by David Daleiden and his team. Sometimes words alone have a more powerful effect than even the pictures of medical technicians picking through baby body parts.
The video comes at a time when Planned Parenthood is trying to fight back with high-powered PR people and a new and very expensive advertising campaign that just launched in selected markets.
A number of states have defunded Planned Parenthood and formal investigations have begun in others. Even StemExpress has severed ties with the abortion giant. Attempts to use the courts to stifle the release of new videos have largely failed.
Up to now Planned Parenthood has been successful in convincing Americans that the federal funded group performs very few abortions. Planned Parenthood has claimed that abortions make up merely 3 percent of their overall annual “services.” Even liberal outlets have debunked that claim.
Even so, polls show that most Americans don’t believe Planned Parenthood performs abortions at all, when in fact it performs more than 300,000 every year, more than any other group, generating more than $100 million in revenue from abortions alone.

A doctor for a Planned Parenthood tissue harvesting partner appears to admit a baby’s “heart actually is still beating” at times following abortions and an ex-procurement tech gives a first-person account of watching a baby’s heart beat before she dissects its brain in the latest release from an anti-abortion group.
The allegations are part of a new video from the Center for Medical Progress, an anti-abortion activist group that has released a series of undercover and first-person interview videos focusing on Planned Parenthood and its partners.
Wednesday’s 11-minute, edited release features first-person interviews with Holly O’Donnell, a former procurement technician for StemExpress, a tissue harvesting company that worked with Planned Parenthood. It also features clips from previous CMP releases and new undercover audio and video.
CMP has been the target of two restraining orders by federal judges – including one from StemExpress – banning them from releasing some of their recordings. But the Los Angeles Superior Court order only bars CMP from releasing video of three StemExpress officials taken at a restaurant in May. Wednesday’s video does not appear to violate that limited order.

A recorded conversation heard during the new video features a voice identified as belonging to Dr. Ben Van Handel, the executive director of Novogenix Laboratories, LLC. Novogenix provides researchers with “human primary tissue-specific stem cells” according to its website.
“So you know there are times when after the procedure is done that the heart actually is still beating,” Handel tells an undercover CMP investigator during the conversation.
O’Donnell, who has been featured in previous videos, describes a co-worker showing her a beating heart in an aborted baby.
“‘Hey Holly, come over here, I want you to see something kinda cool. It’s kinda neat,’” O’Donnell said the coworker told her. “So I’m over here, and the moment I see it I’m just flabbergasted. This is the most gestated fetus and the closest thing to a baby that I’ve seen. And she’s like, ‘Okay I want to show you something.’ And she has one of her instruments and she just taps the heart and it starts beating and I’m sitting here and I’m looking at this fetus and its heart is beating and I don’t know what to think.”
Following the demonstration, O’Donnell said she and the co-worker cut the face of the baby open and dissected its brain.
“It had a face,” O’Donnell said. “It wasn’t completely torn up. And its nose was very pronounced. It had eyelids. Its mouth was pronounced.”
In one of the most disturbing portions of the video, CMP shows a clip of a baby seeming to move its arms and legs post-abortion. The clip is from the Grantham Collection and Center for Bio-Ethical Reform and is not new undercover material.
Previous videos have appeared to show Planned Parenthood officials admitting the organization alters abortion procedures to procure fetal tissue, delivers intact fetuses and sells fetal tissue for profit. Each of those practices is against federal law. A video last week featured O’Donnell alleging that StemExpress sometimes did not obtain consent from mothers to use their fetal tissue, which would be a serious ethical breach if true.
Planned Parenthood has denied breaking any laws and has said payments discussed in the videos relate to reimbursement costs for procuring the tissue – which is legal.
“These extremists show a total lack of compassion and dignity for women’s most personal medical decisions,” an Aug. 4 statement from Planned Parenthood said.
“Human Capital Episode 3: Planned Parenthood’s Custom Abortions for Superior Product” is the seventh release from CMP.
The videos have brought investigations of Planned Parenthood’s policies on aborted fetuses by three Republican-led congressional committees and three states. Investigators in Florida cited four Planned Parenthood clinics for violations earlier this month.
The Senate failed to advance a Republican-led measure to halt federal aid to Planned Parenthood before its summer recess. But the issue of defunding Planned Parenthood has become a rallying cry for many groups on the right and is a top issue in the Republican primary battle.
“Exactly what is being done to obtain these intact bodies needs to be investigated,” a statement released Wednesday from pro-life group Priests for Life said. “Federal law prohibits abortion procedures that partially or fully deliver a living baby. Philadelphia abortionist Kermit Gosnell is serving life in prison because he aborted babies who were still alive when they came out of the mother’s body. If Planned Parenthood is not fully investigated and prosecuted for these offenses, then we owe Gosnell an apology.”

“I’m looking at this [baby] and its heart is beating and I don’t know what to think”

A fully intact human fetus is seen moving its arms and legs outside of the womb, in the latest damning Planned Parenthood sting video released by the pro-life Center for Medical Progress.
Ex-Stem Express procurement technician Holly O’Donnell appears again in the 7th installment of the group’s series, revealing even more horrific details about her former employer’s partnership with Planned Parenthood and their customized abortion for profit racket.
“O’Donnell describes the harvesting, or ‘procurement,’ of organs from a nearly intact late-term fetus aborted at Planned Parenthood Mar Monte’s Alameda clinic in San Jose, CA,” CMP notes in their latest video’s description.
“Usually they want both hemispheres intact with the brain stems, which usually doesn’t happen,” O’Donnell says. “They’ll take like a 70 percent intact or an 80 percent intact… and you have to contact them and see if that’ll be ok.”
The former technician goes on to recount how her lab supervisor described cutting through the mouth of a gestated fetus as “cool.”
“’Want to see something kind of cool?,’” O’Donnell says her supervisor asked her. “And she has one of her instruments and she just taps the heart and it starts beating… and I’m sitting here and I’m looking at this fetus and its heart is beating and I don’t know what to think.”
O’Donnell goes on:
“It had a face, it wasn’t completely torn up. And its nose was very pronounced. It had eyelids and its mouth was pronounced and then, since the fetus was so intact, she said, ‘OK well this is a really good fetus and it looks like we can procure a lot from it. We’re going to procure brain.’
“The moment I heard that I thought, that means we’re gonna have to cut the head open.
“And she takes the scissors and she makes a small incision right here [points to her chin] and goes, I would say to maybe a little bit through the mouth and she says, ‘Can you go the rest of the way?’ And I didn’t want to do this. And she gave me the scissors and told me I had to cut down the middle of the face.”

The video also features recordings from the heads of other prominent procurement companies who partner with Planned Parenthood, including Novogenix Laboratories, LLC, Executive Director Dr. Ben Van Handel, who claims that “There are times when after the procedure is done that the heart actually is still beating.”
The Center for Medical Progress notes their seventh exposé, the third in their Human Capital web series, exhibits Planned Parenthood’s “absolute barbarism.”
“Today’s video contains heartrending admissions about the absolute barbarism of Planned Parenthood’s abortion practice and baby parts sales in which fetuses are sometimes delivered intact and alive,” CMP Project Lead David Daleiden states. “Planned Parenthood is a criminal organization from the top down and should be immediately stripped of taxpayer funding and prosecuted for their atrocities against humanity.”
Last Friday, Stem Express announced it would be severing ties with Planned Parenthood, following vocal protests regarding the release of CMP’s videos.
