Donald Trump Meets with Families of Americans Killed by Illegal Aliens

11 Jul 2015 by Michelle Moons

2016 Presidential candidate and real estate mogul Donald Trump met Friday afternoon with family members of Americans killed by illegal aliens in the wake of a multiple deportee felon confessing to shooting and killing young Kate Steinle in San Francisco, California.

Sabine Durden lost her son Dominic Durden to the actions of an illegal alien three years ago come Sunday. After participating in Friday’s meeting with Trump she spoke exclusively with Breitbart News sharing her experience inside the meeting:

Mister Trump met with the families in a separate room. He listened to each one of our stories and was visibly shaken and touched. We got hugged and he promised to continue to fight for us and our kids. We then went to a separate room where the press was staged. He addressed them and then gave each of us time to share our story. The press tried to pin him down on his previous comments. He stood his ground. I had a coke bottle that read HERO on it and I told him that he should have it. He is my hero because he was the only one who got attention to this truly important issue.

It was such a pleasure and true honor to meet this man. A legend and someone to bring America back.

Leading up to the meeting Durden was extremely excited. Afterwards she also remarked of Trump’s patient listening ear saying it energized her to continue sharing her story and the important message of the need for border and immigration law enforcement.

The families of Jamiel Shaw Jr., Sabine Durden, Don Rosenberg, Lupe Moreno, and Brenda Sparks, all who have lost loved ones, were included in Friday’s meeting.

Trump has come under fire in the mainstream media over comments made about illegal immigration since the announcement of his candidacy. He has since risen to number one in polls of the Republican field for president.

Breitbart News reported not only Friday on the families included in the meeting and brief portions of their stories, but also at an event last November, the National Day of Remembrance for Americans killed by illegal aliens. Many of the families have had to fight fiercely to see their loved ones’ killers brought to justice or even just deported. Others have watched their loved ones’ killers go free.

Trump will address attendees at Freedom Fest in Las Vegas, Nevada and later at a stadium venue in Phoenix, Arizona.

Durden also recently penned separate, open letters to both President Barack Obama and Donald Trump. The letters came in stark contrast to one another as the letter to Obama expressed Durden’s grievance over the president inviting a known illegal alien to an LGBT event at the White House who then heckled the President about deportation.

Durden questioned when Obama would acknowledge her and others who have lost loved ones to the actions of foreign nationals illegally present in the United States and “WHEN do legal citizens that have been affected by this immigration issue, get a chance to share their side of the story with you?” (original emphasis). The letter is included in an exclusive Breitbart News report.

Father of murder victim to introduce Trump in Phoenix

11 Jul 201562

From MJ Lee reporting at CNN:

Jamiel Shaw Sr., the father of a high school student killed by an undocumented immigrant, will introduce Donald Trump on Saturday at a rally in Phoenix, Trump campaign officials tell CNN.

Shaw’s son, a high school football star, was shot and killed in Los Angeles in 2008 by a gang member born in Mexico. On Friday, Trump met in Los Angeles with Shaw and other family members of victims of crimes perpetrated by undocumented immigrants.

Shaw said Friday that Trump’s recent comments about illegal immigration resonated deeply with him.

Donald Trump Talks: Gun Control, Assault Weapons, Gun Free Zones & Self Defense

The Second Amendment is a bedrock natural right of the individual to defend self, family, and property

July 11, 2015 by Fredy Riehl | Ammoland

Hello Mr Trump. Many of our readers are very excited that you have thrown your hat in the ring to run for president in 2016.

They like the idea that you have nothing to do with politics and that you have real experience running large, successful business, successful being the key word. I hope you and your family are up for the challenges of running for president.

AmmoLand: Speaking of family I know you and your sons recently attended the 2015 NRA Annual Meeting, where you were asked to speak. How long have you been active with the NRA and what do you think about the influence the NRA has in politics?

Donald Trump:

“I am a Life Member of the NRA and am proud of their service in protecting our right to keep and bear arms. The NRA’s efforts to stop dangerous, gun-banning legislation and regulation is invaluable. The media focus on those efforts overshadows the great work the NRA does on behalf of safety and conservation.

I have a permit to carry and, living in New York, I know firsthand the challenges law-abiding citizens have in exercising their Second Amendment rights. My most trusted sources are my sons, Don, Jr. and Eric. They are fantastic sportsmen and are deeply involved in hunting, competitive shooting, and habitat conservation.”

AmmoLand: The deceptive term “Assault Weapons” has proven to be a buzz word among the anti-gun media. Back in 2000 in your book “The America We Deserve” you wrote “The Republicans walk the NRA line and refuse to even limited restrictions. I generally oppose gun control, but I support the ban on assault weapons and I also support a slightly longer waiting period to purchase a gun.” Since that time the AR15 rifle, what the media calls an “assault weapons“, has become America’s most popular firearm with millions and millions of them owned by good people.

Do you still stand by this quote or has your thinking evolved over the 15 years since you wrote that line?

Donald Trump:

“I certainly stand by my opposition to Gun Control when it comes to taking guns from law-abiding citizens. You mention that the media describes the AR-15 as an “assault rifle,” which is one example of the many distortions they use to sell their agenda. However, the AR-15 does not fall under this category. Gun-banners are unfortunately preoccupied with the AR-15, magazine capacity, grips, and other aesthetics, precisely because of its popularity.”

“To the Left every gun is an assault weapon.”

“Gun control does not reduce crime. It has consistently failed to stop violence. Americans are entitled to protect their families, their property and themselves. In fact, in right-to-carry states the violent crime rate is 24% lower than the rest of the United States and the murder rate is 28% lower. This should not be up for debate.”

AmmoLand: You have been a long time resident of New York City and we can only assume that you know former Mayor Michael Bloomberg pretty well. We have followed his efforts to undermine the Second Amendment through his various anti-gun front groups. What does he have against the RKBA and why don’t we see wealthy conservatives making a similar ‘all in’ push to support gun rights?

Donald Trump:

“Mayor Bloomberg and I are friends. However, on this we agree to disagree. I believe there are two reasons you do not see a similar effort from Mayor Bloomberg’s polar opposite. ”

“First, many wealthy live behind gates, armed security, and away from crime. They may have little understanding of how fellow citizens are challenged in defending themselves and their property. The second reason is that we have the NRA and other groups already in the arena.”

“The Trump family knows these organizations are the best investment if we are to defend the right to keep and bear arms.”

AmmoLand: Karl Rove recently voiced support for a repeal of the Second Amendment as a way to stop gun violence. What do you think of this suggestion or, as our readers believe, is it a God given right that can not be repealed by politicians?

Donald Trump:

“Karl Rove is a proven loser. He wasted $400 million in 2012 and did not win a single race.

“The Second Amendment is a bedrock natural right of the individual to defend self, family, and property. It is a ridiculous notion to ever repeal it.”

“For Rove to even think it shows a lack of respect for all of the freedoms in our Constitution and a complete ignorance of our shared American inheritance.”

AmmoLand: As we have reported on AmmoLand Shooting Sports News, two of your sons, Eric and Donald Trump Jr., have been the target of harassment by anti-hunting groups after they posted pictures of their successes while hunting in Africa. What advice do you have for other hunters that maybe be being bullied online or elsewhere by this shrill minority?

Donald Trump:

“My advice is to remain vigilant. Harassment of this nature will always be with us, but we know that Americans have inherited a strong outdoor and shooting heritage that we are happy to defend.”

“The 2nd Amendment is right, not a privilege. The small minority of anti-everything activists may be vocal, but we have facts, and the Constitution, on our side.”

“I would also add that hunters contribute more to the preservation of game animals and their habitat than any of these protesters. Hunters are the original conservationists. To see this historically you have to look no further then Teddy Roosevelt and his creation of the National Parks System.”

AmmoLand: Universal Background Checks to acquire guns is something President Obama has long been pushing for, yet background checks would not or did not stop any of the recent shooters from getting guns. What is your position on Background Checks? And do you see a need for even more government approval for someone to own a gun?

Donald Trump:

“I do not support expanding background checks. The current background checks do not work.”

“They make it more difficult for law abiding citizens to acquire firearms while consistently failing to stop criminals from getting guns. We should re-examine our policy to make sure that these prohibitions do not impede law abiding citizens from exercising their Second Amendment rights.”

AmmoLand: A lot of Democrats in politics today are crying for firearms magazine restrictions. But as we saw just with the Charleston, S.C. church killer, he used standard capacity magazines and quickly changed them out five or more times. So how does it make any sense to have gun magazine size limits?

Donald Trump:

“Gun magazine limits do not make common sense. I have long opposed such limits. For instance, I fought the SAFE Act in New York, which I call the “Unsafe Act.” I also spoke at a rally in Albany championing gun rights and protesting the Unsafe Act. The law limited capacity to seven rounds, as if criminals were going to take rounds out of their magazines before committing a crime. It was later changed to a limit of ten rounds, but the entire episode was a complete disaster.”

“Never mindful of the results, this effort was just one more attempt to erode the Second Amendment.”

AmmoLand: Lots of AmmoLand’s active duty readers have complained that many, if not all, of our military bases are “Gun Free Zones” and that these highly trained war fighters are left defenseless and disarmed against murderers, like the Fort Hood Shooter, when they are stationed on U.S. bases. Would you have a problem allowing our military bases to set their own polices with regard to personal weapons and do away with the “Gun Free Zones” death trap?

Donald Trump:

“[gun free zones] No, not optional. As Commander-in-Chief, I would mandate that soldiers remain armed and on alert at our military bases.

President Clinton never should have passed a ban on soldiers being able to protect themselves on bases. America’s Armed Forces will be armed.

They will be able to defend themselves against terrorists. Our brave soldiers should not be at risk because of policy created by civilian leadership. Political correctness has no place in this debate.”

AmmoLand: Thank you for taking the time to answer some of our questions today. We wish you the best of luck in your presidential run. As we leave you would you like to tell our readers what the Second Amendment means to you and your family?

Donald Trump:

“The Trump family will stay vigilant in our support of right to keep and bear arms. And given today’s threats across the United States it is as important now as ever. National Security begins in our homes. All citizens must have the ability to protect themselves, their families, and their property. The Second Amendment is a right, not a privilege. Our safety and defense is embodied in the Second Amendment and I will always protect this most important right.

“Our country is ready for a bold new direction. We can bring common sense to Washington. This is our time to Make America Great Again!”

TRUMP IN VEGAS: SLAMS OBAMA, HILLARY, JEB… CROWD GOES WILD

11 Jul 2015 by MICHELLE MOONS AND RAHEEM KASSAM

LAS VEGAS, Nevada – Republican candidate Donald Trump addressed the FreedomFest conference in Las Vegas, telling delegates of his underestimated wealth, his passion for securing America’s border, the slanted portrayal of him in the mainstream media, and how he believes that China and Mexico have “smarter leaders” than the United States.

Some libertarians, who the conference is aimed at, believed that Trump would receive a hostile reception at FreedomFest. But the crowd was generally supportive, or at least open-minded, to Trump’s run. One delegate told Breitbart London, “He doesn’t pretend to be anything. People were surprisingly supportive of him.”

Trump began with a few jokes, including one about speaking at the Biltmore resort in Arizona tonight, which he says can no longer accommodate his event because of extraordinary demand from thousands of members of the public. “I’d have to do outside… and my hair would fly around… but it is my real hair,” he joked.

The crowd warmed, giving him the opportunity to lunge into an unscripted, no-notes speech about the biased media, his political opponents, and even companies like Univision and NBC who have attacked Trump publicly, severing links with his companies.

Despite his impassioned plea for treating American veterans better – which drew massive applause – the most moving moment was when he invited Jamiel Shaw Sr. on stage. Shaw Sr.’s son was murdered in 2008 in a black neighbourhood by an illegal immigrant. He took multiple gun shots to the head and chest, and Shaw Sr. mimicked his son’s dying moments on stage, putting his hands up to his face. He called it “the original hands up, don’t shoot.”

Shaw Sr. said that Mr Trump’s interventions on the issue were pivotal, effectively endorsing his candidacy on stage. He said: “I trust Donald Trump because if he can put himself out there like that… for us… then I can trust him.”

Trump told the audience that one of the things that came out of the press conference last night was that the police were strong and good until they found out it was an illegal immigrant who had killed Shaw Sr.’s son. They took it easy on the perpetrator from then on.

The majority of Trump’s speech was based on business, wealth creation, trade negotiation, and immigration.

On his own business, he warned his political opponents and detractors that when his FEC filings are published next week they’ll find, “I’m much richer [than people think]… you’ll see next week,” he said.

On wealth creation and jobs, he spoke passionately about how there should be more jobs in the U.S. instead of calling a company’s customer service line and ending up with someone in New Delhi.

On trade negotiation, he warned that Mexican, Chinese, and Iranian negotiators were much smarter than our own, particularly picking on Carolyn Kennedy, Obama-appointee to the Ambassadorship to Japan. He said that Obama’s appointees were getting killed in the field of negotiation, and that he could do a better job. “I know people… horrible people… you wouldn’t want to have dinner with… but they’re great at what they do [negotiate]”.

On immigration, he talked up a wall for the U.S.-Mexico border and directly accused the Mexican government of intentionally, “sending us their problems.”

“I love the Mexican people… The problem is their leaders are much smarter than ours…” he repined. “I love people to come into the country legally,” he said, before attacking a commonly held libertarian viewpoint that illegal immigration is to be tolerated.

Trump spoke of how Tea Party supporters have been disparaged for years: “The Tea Party has such power and they always get trivialized… that’s what’s happening with me.” He mentioned later on that his comments are only ever half-reported. He focused particularly on the mainstream media which claimed he said, “the American Dream is dead,” without adding the next sentence he said at the time – about his plans to make it bigger, stronger, and better than ever.

Meanwhile, he noted, Hillary Clinton is being subpoenaed by the United States Congress and still somehow failed to disclose her e-mails. She was “the worst secretary of state in the history of the country,” he boomed – claiming that she would not bring back trade or jobs.

But he saved he best of his excoriating remarks for President Obama, “Obama gets along with nobody. The whole world hates us [as a result of him]”

In a clear attack against the political establishment, including Republican candidate Jeb Bush, he said, “Every single person who gave Jeb Bush and Hillary money has something lined up, and it’s not necessarily and probably not at all to the benefit of [the American people]. Special interests, lobbyists, donors, they all get something.” He told how his own personal wealth would mean he didn’t owe donors anything – he pointed to Jeb as an example of where a candidate or president could be steered by the money men and women behind him.

He closed on questions from the audience, one of them from a Mexican immigrant who attacked his policy on building a wall across the border. Trump doesn’t handle criticism all that well, but his argument stacked up enough that his talking over the question didn’t matter to most in the audience: “I would build a wall between this country and Mexico… I would encourage legal immigration… but what I don’t encourage is people coming here illegally.”

His takeaway was simple: “I’m going to bring back our jobs, and I thought that was going to be my strength. And it is my strength. But we have to secure the border.”

“We don’t have victories anymore, we used to have victories, and my whole thing is I’m going to make America great again.”

GOP Frontrunner Is Now DONALD TRUMP,A Simple Analysis On Why Trump Is Winning

July 10, 2015 By Ted

While the media and so many faces that pop-up on TV screens doubt that Donald Trump will win the nomination, fact is, Trump leads the GOP pack this week according to many polls and now YouGov latest poll also confirms it.

In this week’s Economist/YouGov Poll, businessman Donald Trump leads among Republicans, ahead of Kentucky Senator Rand Paul, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, Florida Senator Marco Rubio and Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker.

Here, take a look at the bars below. They speak for themselves:

YouGov concluded:

“Trump looks even better as a candidate this week when Republicans are asked for their second choice. When they are, Trump extends his lead. One in four Republicans who are registered to vote say he is their first or second choice.”

When it comes to all the media talk and talking-heads with conflicting opinions on who will win the nomination for the Republican or the Democrat parties, to me it does not take rocket-science. Let me be Trump honest and Trump blunt. While Trump’s hair flies in the wind, he looks more presidential than the rest of the republicans and democrat candidates combined. He has a general Patton charisma and his bluntness reflects the American way.

On the democrat side we have two old geezers, Bernie Sanders (who contributed a manifesto on sexual freedom) and Hillary ‘Rotton’ Clinton (Islam’s favorite hag). Both are hags and have little charisma and panache as they appeal mostly for the mentally ill and people with all sorts of social disorders. Sanders and Clinton are simply two old socialist fogies who belong more in Russia before the wall came down. While Americans complain about Putin, had Hillary and Bernie been Russian, who in Russia today will vote for Hillary or Bernie during Communism or after its collapse? Even from an American view where looks are said to be everything, they really look terrible and Hillary Clinton doesn’t only look like the tired, old, mean woman, she really is a tired mean old woman.

The more these talking heads criticize Trump, the more the people love him.

Why?

The reason is simple. When I lived in the Middle East it was the world of the top-dog. When I came to America, I witnessed how Americans went for the under-dog. By ‘top-dog’ or ‘under-dog’ I do not mean winners vs. losers, what I mean is bullies vs. victims. Trump, while he is becoming the victim of slander, ridicule and mockery, Americans don’t like it. Americans are a very unique bunch of people. While Americans go through all sorts of sexual revolutions and act crazy in all sorts of ways, they, in the end, (when push comes to shove), they put down all the sex and all the crazy parties and they fight.

I have learned much from becoming an American. I have learned to appreciate what is good about America, while I fight what is bad about America. The democrats reversed the great motto from “ask not what your country can do for you but ask what you can do for your country”. The new democratic motto is “ask what your country can do for you and ask not what you can do for your country”. The strange thing is that the motto was said by a democrat: John F. Kennedy.

What few consider is that Trump will not muster in Republicans only, but he will also gain many democrats who are tired of the status-quoe. From our simple analysis, we predicted that Trump will lead even before he announced his nomination. On April 14th, and while most were skeptic he would even run or even make it we stated:

“I suspect Trump will run, win and rid us from one wicked wretch: Hillary Clinton.”

Support Trump.
