Unfortunately I missed this 60s revival at the Museum in 2011:

Dust off your Fred Perry T-shirt, parka and penny loafers for a special day of events to mark the launch of an exhibition celebrating Mod culture in Reading.
Reading, Steady, Go: Life Through The Eyes of a 1960s Mod is an exhibition featuring Mod-era memorabilia from Reading and the rest of the country.
When the exhibition opens next month hipsters will be able to relive the swinging Sixties by watching a Rolling Stones tribute band who will be following in the footsteps of their heroes.
During the evening you will then be able to party like it’s 1969 when tribute act the Counterfeit Stones performs at the Concert Hall, just as the Rolling Stones did in the Sixties, and the After Dark Club in London Street will become late night Mod club The Alex.
The exhibition will feature a range of 1960s memorabilia donated by local people, clothes given by fashion label Fred Perry, one of Rolling Stones guitarist Brian Jones’s guitars and more.
It is backed by the Reading Post/getreading , Oasis singer Liam Gallagher’s Reading-based clothing line Pretty Green, and Reading Festival organiser Festival Republic.
Reading Mod Paul ‘Smiler’ Anderson and record collector Damian Jones came up with the idea after writing a book about the Mod scene.
Mr Anderson said: “There are a lot of myths surrounding youth culture in the Sixties and, during research for the exhibition, we found lots of parallels with the experience of young people growing up in Reading today.”
Reading, Steady, Go opens at 10am on Saturday, April 9, when there will be a parade of 1960s scooters.
