This position will be responsible for leading the Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS) Industrial Cyber Security services business in the assigned geography including responsibility for the delivery of planned financial results. The position will have direct reporting relationship to the Global Operations Manager, Industrial Cyber Security. The successful candidate will possess the ability to be strategic and tactical while leading and supervising a team, possessing strong customer service skills, and influencing and maintaining close working relationship with other departments.
Responsibilities
Assume leadership role in all on-site Industrial Cyber Security service activities in assigned countries in Middle East ensuring on time delivery and within budget for projects as well as the satisfaction of the customer
Supervise and manage a team of cyber security/network service personnel including understanding personnel strategic direction based on business requirements to include recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, mentoring, development and performance management
Financial performance of cyber security business within assigned geography. Includes progress reporting, budgeting, achieving business metrics, and overall business analysis
Liaison with Sales, Service, and Project key personnel to promote and secure industrial cyber security/networking consulting services business including proposal development and customer presentations
Establish goals that drive the organization to success by understanding the business direction and customer needs
Develop sound and trusted relationships with internal and external customers by providing accurate and efficient support
In cooperation with peers and other functional leaders, ensure process optimization, effectiveness, and productivity by implementing standardization incorporating best in class tools and support systems to deliver service excellence
Work with customers and other Honeywell groups to establish appropriate benchmarks, how they will be measured, and specific actions that should result
Arrange the right combination of skills and experiences required by engaging Honeywell specialists to quickly address problems as they occur
Leveraging customer experiences, work with Solutions Teams to identify and develop new cyber security/networking solutions
Communicate on various levels of the organization both verbal and written
Maintain technical competency in security/network best practices and management solutions
Professionally represent the Industrial Cyber Security business in interactions with internal and external customers and business partners as required
Requires 25 – 50% travel
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (computer, electrical), computer science or related field
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in process control systems engineering
Minimum of 5 years in direct management of technical employees incorporating, performance management, professional development, and staffing
Customer service orientated with minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial service/project related environment
Minimum of 4 years supervisory/lead experience
Minimum of 3 years’ experience selling services to industrial market
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Information Technology
Process control systems knowledge and understanding
Strong diagnostic and analytical skills including problem solving, trouble shooting, management of priorities and self-direction to resolve complex issues
Good understanding of cyber security standards and technologies
Effective written and verbal skill to enable strong communication capabilities
Capability to maintain confidentiality
Minimum of 5 years IT industry experience
Minimum of 5 years field service experience
Experience managing or supervising a remote team of technical professionals
Sales or business development experience preferred
Safety regulations related to process industry
Business management
Excellent people management skills, high integrity and honesty
Experience operating in a matrix environment
