Posted on 2021/11/04 by Matt Bach: Intel has launched their new 12th Gen Intel Core desktop processors (code-named "Alder Lake") featuring support for DDR5, PCIe 5.0, as well as a completely new hybrid architecture using a mix of Performance and Efficient-cores. Photoshop is largely single-threaded which may diminish the value of the hybrid architecture, but we are still very curious to see what these new CPUs are capable of.
