Vegas Seven Magazine has released the names of four Nevada Cardiology Associates team members for its 2016 list of “Top Doctors”. The doctors are specialists in cardiac electrophysiology and in cardiovascular disease.



Las Vegas NV: Nevada Cardiology Associates is pleased to announce that four of their doctors have been named to the Vegas Seven Magazine’s “Top Doctors” list for 2016. The four cardiologists are identified in two separate categories. Dr. Robert L. Baker and Dr. Foad Moazez are named in the Cardiac Electrophysiology Category. The Cardiovascular Disease Category includes the names of Dr. Richard Chen and Dr. Samuel E. Green. The recognition of these four professionals underscores the quality of the team members who are working with patients.

The Las Vegas cardiologists team was launched in 1989 to respond to needs of residents throughout southern Nevada. In addition to the recognition of the four doctors, Nevada Cardiology Associates has been recognized by the Andre Agassi Foundation as a leader in cardiovascular care. The areas of specialty include preventative cardiology and health maintenance, cardiac rehabilitation, diagnostic cardiac testing, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, and nuclear cardiac imaging.

Dr. Robert L. Baker, MD, FACC underwent fellowship training in general cardiology and electrophysiology at the University of Michigan. He is triple board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Electrophysiology and was elected as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Foad Moazez, MD, FACC, FCCP is particularly interested in the treatment of abnormal heart rhythms, pacemaker/defibrillator placement and arrhythmia monitoring. Dr. Moazez holds triple board certification in internal medicine, cardiology and electrophysiology.

Dr. Richard Chen, MD, FACC underwent general and advanced interventional fellowship training at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. He holds board certifications in interventional cardiology, internal medicine and cardiology. Dr. Chen practices general cardiology with special emphasis on advanced coronary and peripheral arterial interventional techniques. Dr Samuel E. Green, MD, FACC practices general cardiology with special emphasis on nuclear cardiology and transesophageal echocardiography. He then undertook his cardiology fellowship at Georgetown University Hospital, where he then served as an instructor. He is board certified in internal medicine and cardiology and has been elected as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
