A former adviser to Gordon Brown
has urged people to stock up on canned goods and bottled water as stock markets around the world slide.
Damian McBride appeared to suggest that the stock market dip could lead to civil disorder or other situations where it would be unreasonable for someone to leave the house.
“Advice on the looming crash, No.1: get hard cash in a safe place now; don’t assume banks & cashpoints will be open, or bankcards will work,” he tweeted.
“Crash advice No.2: do you have enough bottled water, tinned goods & other essentials at home to live a month indoors? If not, get shopping.
“Crash advice No.3: agree a rally point with your loved ones in case transport and communication gets cut off; somewhere you can all head to.”
The above commentary could have come right The Cosmic Chess Match. On Friday the Stock Market tanked and then yesterday nose-dived another 500+ points! However today it rebounded. Welcome to the Shemitah? It appears at least for now that Jonathan Cahn’s warnings of a financial collapse this September should be taken seriously. (There are different spellings for Shemitah)

Peggy and I just returned from Florida where we spent a few days with Pastor Tim and his lovely wife Susan. Tim is a pastor who is preparing those in his church for what may be coming. These folks know that if something comes down in September they can congregate at the church and support one another.
Everywhere I go there is an uneasiness in the people. Many of the Folks I speak to do not trust our government or the media anymore. I’m reminded of the clip we used in the trailer for Wathcers 9, which shows Donald Trump—who is still the front-runner—telling Anderson Cooper, The people don’t trust you, they don’t trust the media!
Trump is right on the money, as Congresses approval rating is at an all time low.
What should be sobering and perhaps a lesson to be learned by the roller-coaster stock market plunges in the last two days, is that the global financial system can come crashing down without warning.
So this brings me back to the points above. Get stocked up on cash, food and water. Get prepared now, don’t put it off.
In closing todays post. EMP, hurricane, earthquakes, Yellowstone blowing it’s top, more drought in California, record snow, record heat, record flooding, higher food prices mean that we live in a very unstable world. These are also the signs that Jesus warns us would be an indicator of His return. Are you prepared? Do you know Him? If you think you know Him, but you don’t know him, you don’t know Him. It’s as simple as that. He stands at the door of your heart and waits for you to invite Him in. He is the Prince of Peace and is what this crazy, out-of-control world needs now, more than ever….
