Hi guys! It’s been a long while since I’ve come all the way up up into the sky to Genting Highlands. I’m so glad to be back again! This time round, I stayed at Genting Skyworlds Hotel, which is just next to the prominent Genting Skyworlds Outdoor Theme Park. Woohoo!

I love the cooling weather, breeze and fresh air here. On my first day, I ate Babajia chicken porridge for breakfast, Marrybrown fast food for lunch, Richdad French toast for teatime, Zok Noodle House prawn dumpling noodle for dinner and yogurt strawberry milk before bedtime. The milk bottle is extremely cute and yes I sucked it and slept like a baby thereafter.

Being a shopping queen, my first priority always goes to shopping. I took the Awana Skyway to Genting Premium Outlets and found a few steals there. Shiok. Thank God for the clear skies and magnificent view! I also explored Sky Avenue shops and ended off the night with carnival games at Bigtop. I played catch the duck and won a medium sloth and also played spin the wheel but missed out on the giant toy! Damn! Still, I’m satisfied and lucky enough to have won 2 small chicken heads, 3 medium dogs (where I exchanged for 1 large cow)! This is where all my money goes…

Moving on, my adventure to Genting Skyworlds Outdoor Theme Park started at 11am and I played a good five hours till 4pm! It’s like universal studios but sadly not all parts are in operations yet. The good thing is that it’s not that crowded and the queues for the rides are usually just around 5 to 10 minutes. This also means I can play my favorite rides multiple times! I did mostly simple rides though and it’s pretty relaxing and entertaining because it’s quite slow and I got to admire the intricate details of the rides.

I loved the night at the museum 3D shooting game ride! And guess what??!! I tried my luck again at spin the wheel inside Genting Skyworlds outdoor theme park and won a giant toy this time round!!!!!!!!!! I jumped in joy and thought that my 60 ringgit was finally well spent. The staff was happy for me and rang the carnival bell loud and clear repeatedly. Winning feels great!

Ice Age is a fun 4D movie ride! A lot of the rides are suitable for all ages, especially family with young children. Good bonding time.

I kept my final highlight to the end and this epic ride is my favorite out of all. It’s a boat ride to the voyage of moonhaven, with mild drops and lots of water splashing. Very fun and very cooling! Ponchos are available for sale at RM10 but hey, a water ride is supposed to get you wet! So I went ahead without a poncho but this decision came with a price i.e. getting myself drenched and headed back to my room for a quick shower. It’s all worth it and I want to play this ride over and over again please!

As for the Skytropolis indoor theme park, it’s pretty much for kids but I still went ahead and did the balloon ride (pay per ride is RM13). It gets you up and is a fast spinning one where you can see the overview of the whole indoor theme park. Sadly once again, some other rides are not in operations and the queues for the available rides are much longer than the outdoor theme park. I wanted to play the bumper cars and relax in the Ferris wheel but gave those a miss as I was lazy to queue. Perhaps I should explore the packages available the next round so I can complete all the family, adventure and thrill rides that I’ve missed! Hopefully by then it’s all fully opened so I could maximize my plays.

Food wise, I had cute dim sum for breakfast, an 18 inch hotdog bread for lunch, a cupcorn for teatime, a juicy London duck for dinner, a nongshim cup noodles for supper and not forgetting a yogurt in a milk bottle before bed. My stomach is well fed and content! Starlight is an interesting thing I passed by where you could just speak and hear the echos of your own voices. So cool. I also watched Wolf Pack movie (RM21 per ticket) at the theatres to end off my night and my mini weekend Genting trip. All in all, I had my share of fun and was recharged.

I was so so so reluctant to return to reality but it’s okay, I’ve another more important upcoming trip to look forward to which I’ll definitely share with you guys in time to come! Stay tuned!

Above all, thank God for blessing this trip with lots of happy and relaxing times! I spent couple of hundreds but couldn’t be more than satisfied with all my loots.

Thanks for reading!
