I purchased and paid for an item from a great eBay seller.  Ten days later when the item hadn't arrived, I contacted the seller who contacted the Post Office.  According to the USPS, the item was listed as "delivered" two days earlier.  As I explained to my local post office as well as on the online USPS site, I did get a package delivered by them that day, but unfortunately that package was NOT mine but rather was addressed to someone I don't know who lives on a completely different street. I wrote "Delivered to wrong address" on that package and returned it to the local Post Office, but they have no idea where MY package is.  My local Post Office says the seller did pay to insure the package and that I must fill out a lost item form online at the USPS website so they can refund the seller who then can refund me. , But when I do as they direct, I keep getting messages from them declining my claim because they say the package shows up as having been delivered.  Anyone got an idea how I can get my money back?  This obviously isn't a problem with the seller but rather with the Post Office.  Are there steps I can take to get PayPal to issue me a refund?  Thanks!
