Remember how the Left, when it assumed Clinton would win, jeered that Donald Trump would be a sore loser who wouldn’t accept the result?
Here is Clinton herself:
“That’s not the way our democracy works. We’ve been around 240 years. We’ve had free and fair elections and we’ve accepted the outcomes when we may not have liked them and that is what must be expected of anyone standing on a debate stage during a general election. President Obama said the other day that when you’re whining before the game is even finished it just shows you’re not even up to doing the job. “
She added, “And let’s be clear about what he’s saying and what he means. He’s denigrating—he’s talking down our democracy. I for one am appalled that somebody who is the nominee of one of our major two parties would take that kind of position.”
President Obama also piled on:
President Barack Obama blasted Trump on Thursday at a rally in Miami Gardens, Florida, for Clinton and U.S. Representative Patrick Murphy, who is trying to unseat Republican Senator Marco Rubio, a Trump supporter.
“That is dangerous. Because when you try to sow the seeds of doubt in people’s minds about the legitimacy of the elections, that undermines our democracy. Then you’re doing the work of our adversaries for them,” Obama said.
But now it’s Hillary Clinton’s team claiming the election was rigged by the Russians and by people fooling millions of pro-Trump morons with “fake news”. You’d laugh, if it wasn’t so sinister.

Steve Kates says “It’s the first one that is the most sinister.”
It reads:
Hillary Clinton’s top political adviser John Podesta said the campaign is supporting an effort by members of the Electoral College to request an intelligence briefing on foreign intervention in the presidential election.
“The bipartisan electors’ letter raises very grave issues involving our national security,” Podesta said in a statement Monday. “Electors have a solemn responsibility under the Constitution and we support their efforts to have their questions addressed.”
“Each day that month, our campaign decried the interference of Russia in our campaign and its evident goal of hurting our campaign to aid Donald Trump,” he said. “Despite our protestations, this matter did not receive the attention it deserved by the media in the campaign. We now know that the CIA has determined Russia’s interference in our elections was for the purpose of electing Donald Trump. This should distress every American.”
Podesta’s statement is the first public statement from the Clinton campaign raising questions about the legitimacy of Donald Trump’s victory.

The claims are groundless and the election is over, unless the electoral college decides to go rogue.
As for the fake news about the “fake news” controversy, this is no more than the Left trying to reassure each other that Trump supporters are simply idiots who were fooled.
Never mind that the left has been responsible for most of the fake news for years. Remember how we were on the brink of a “climate catastrophe”, how polar bears were becoming extinct, how Hurricane Katrina was proof of wilder hurricanes to come, how the world’s crops would fail because of global warming? All false.
And before that, remember how the nuclear accident at Chernobyl killed hundreds of thousands (in fact, fewer than 100), how the population bomb would cause mass famines by the end of the 1900s (in fact, mass famine was wiped out) and how we’d arrived at the start of “peak oil” (in fact, we still have more than plenty)?
Today in The Australian is a thumbsucker from the Leftist United States Studies Centre claiming American voters – actually just those pro-Trump fools – were sucked in by “fake news”. Interestingly, just one example was given of this “fake news”:

The first step was the hacking of the Democratic National Committee this year. An alleged hacker — “Guccifer 2.0” — widely viewed to be a front for a Russian intelligence agency, announced they had broken into the DNC’s systems and stolen the emails of senior officials, including Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman John Podesta. These emails were then slowly released to whistleblowing websites such as the Smoking Gun and WikiLeaks, as well as media outlets such as Gawker, effectively legitimising the emails as a news source.
Actually, that is not an example at all of “fake news” – unless you consider the unverified claim that Russians hacked the DNC to be the real “fake news”. WikiLeaks denies Russia was the source, and no one has yet produced one bit of proof that it was.
Nor is anything about these leaks “fake news”. It is actually real news that the DNC emails were hacked. It is real news that they revealed a pattern of deceit by the Clinton camp, including the sabotage by DNC officials of Bernie Sanders’ campaign, the leaking by a CNN contributor of debate questions to Clinton, the favored treatment given to Clinton Foundation donors by Clinton’s State Department and the habit Clinton had of privately telling Wall Street one thing and voters another. This was real news. In no way was it “fake news” that Clinton was a hopelessly compromised candidate who was not even trusted by many of her own voters.
So what was the lone item of “fake news” that the US Studies Centre could produce? It’s this pathetic scrap, which I suspect changed not a single vote of anyone:
Conspiracy theorists and fake news websites also latched on, propelling more made-up stories based on elements of the emails. This month a gunman fired shots in a Washington, DC, pizza restaurant because he believed fake news stories that child slaves were being held there. Those fake stories were based on the Podesta emails.
That’s it? What kind of idiot thinks that turned the election? That stole it for Trump?
You really, really have to want to believe that Trump voters are sick puppies to believe this garbage. And as long as you do believe it, you will never understand why you lost the election and why voters will keep voting against you. They voted against your kind because they are absolutely sick of this arrogant, patronising, sneering kind of analysis by a media and political elite so wildly out of touch.
