Chicago will be host to the Annual Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Illinois, Grand Chefs Gala, where 50 of the city’s top chefs and mixologists will present food and drinks to support the organization. This 20th Anniversary Platinum Affair will take place on February 3, 2017 in the Navy Pier Ballroom, and will be hosted by Food Network star Jeff Mauro. The event is set to honor key area chefs and restaurants who have influenced the Windy City’s culinary scene over the years. Richard Melman of Lettuce Entertain You will be honored with the “Chicago Classic Award”, among others.
Proceeds from the event will go towards cystic fibrosis research, which affects thousands of Americans each year. For more information on the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, visit their website.
Following the event, the fun will continue at Nightcap, the official event after party, running from 9pm – 12am. This event will feature culinary bites and drinks from more top Chicago restaurant chefs, in a fun and festive environment.
