Big Splash offers a variety of interesting options when you are considering what to eat at East Coast Park. There are Chinese seafood restaurant, cosy modern European bistro as well as Thai BBQ restaurant and local stalls offering kaya toast and roti prata. Crab in Da Bag

Crab in Da Bag offers a wide variety of crabs as well as clams, mussels and prawns prepared in Louisiana flavours with a local twist. A feature of the restaurant is that the food are served in plastic bundles and you dine with hands – so you can eat and make a mess and have a jolly good time.

Set lunches start from $16 and a Captain’s Boil comprising crab, prawns, clams & squids is priced at $99. Beer is $10 per bottle and a fresh lemonade is $5.

Brussels Sprouts

This chic Belgian bar offers a great view of the park and the sea. They serve their signature mussels as well as brunch items, desserts and Belgian favourites like rollmops (pickled herring), shrimp croquette, braised meat and of course good Belgian beers.

The mussels are prepared in a great variety of styles and served with fries. The starter size of 350 grams of mussels is priced at $22. Specialty bottled beers start at $12 and a latte is $7.50.

The Seafood International Market & Restaurant

The large seafood restaurant has a live seafood shopping and dining concept. You can walk through the market to pick out fish, prawns, shellfish, lobster and crabs to be prepared by the restaurant’s team of chefs.

Menu items include Peking duck ($60), wok fried diced beef ($$24), crispy baby squids ($12) and seafood hor fun ($16). Set Menu for 2 starts from $49. Currently, there is an All You Can Eat Ala Carte Buffet Lunch promotion priced at $36.80 on weekdays and $39.80 on weekends and public holidays.

Big Splash is at Area B of East Coast Park (near the Tanjong Katong flyover). The pedestrian underpass from behind Chinese Swimming Club at Amber Road leads up to Big Splash. Bus 401 (which operates only on weekends and public holidays) stops near the grounds and there is a Free Shuttle Service which serves Parkway Parade, 112 Katong, Village Hotel, Roxy Square and several other locations. Parking is available at the surface car-park at $1.50 per entry in the day and $1.50 per hour from 5 pm.
