National Republican Congressional Committee Executive Director John Rogers announced today the committee’s communication and political staff for the 2018 cycle. Communications Director Matt Gorman and Political Director Joe Pileggi were announced previously.
“The team we put together this cycle is made up of some of the best in the business,” said Rogers. “These people are smart, creative, and determined – three traits that I am confident will help the committee maintain Republican control of the House.”

Communications Staff:
Chris Pack, Deputy Communications Director: Pack is in his second cycle at the NRCC, having previously served as a regional press secretary. Before his time at the Committee, he served as communications director for a gubernatorial campaign and has also served as communications director and press secretary in the House of Representatives. He has also served as a campaign spokesman for numerous state and federal legislative races in New York State. Pack is a native of Buffalo and received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the State University of New York at Albany.
Jesse Hunt, National Press Secretary: Hunt is a veteran of three statewide campaigns and a 2016 presidential campaign. Prior to joining the NRCC, Hunt was Communications Director for U.S. Senator Richard Burr’s successful 2016 re-election campaign in North Carolina, where he was the campaign’s chief spokesperson and oversaw media strategy and messaging. Hunt also recently served as New Hampshire Communications Director for former Florida Governor Jeb Bush’s presidential campaign, and before that worked on the campaign’s rapid response team. During the 2014 election cycle, Hunt served as Deputy Communications Director on former U.S. Senator Scott Brown’s Senate campaign in New Hampshire. Prior to that Hunt worked for the Republican Party of Florida, America Rising, and Gabriel Gomez’s Senate campaign during the 2013 special election to fill former Secretary of State John Kerry’s Senate seat. A native of Massachusetts, Hunt graduated from Stonehill College with a B.A. in Communications.
Maddie Anderson, Regional Press Secretary: Anderson has previously served in various roles on presidential, statewide, and congressional campaigns. She was a state political director for Governor Bobby Jindal’s presidential race in Iowa, Deputy Press Secretary for Carlos Beruff’s Senate race in Florida, and most recently, Communications Director for Rep. Brian Mast’s (FL-18) congressional campaign also in Florida. Anderson was raised in Annapolis, Maryland, and received her B.A. in Political Science at Eastern University in Saint Davids, Pennsylvania
Jack Pandol, Regional Press Secretary: A native of Bakersfield, California, Pandol attended Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, graduating with dual degrees in Politics and Spanish. He has served in various communications roles on Capitol Hill, including as Press Secretary for Rep. Rick Crawford (AR-1) and as Communications Director for Reps. Bradley Byrne (AL-1) and Charles Boustany (LA-3). Pandol comes to the NRCC after serving as Communications Director for the Boustany for Senate campaign during the 2016 cycle.
Kerry Rom, Director of Media Affairs: Most recently, Rom worked at the Republican National Committee in the communications department. She started the 2016 cycle in the research division of Jeb Bush’s 2016 presidential campaign. Prior thereto, Rom worked in the political arm of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, helping business friendly candidates succeed in the 2014 cycle. She is a native of Raleigh, North Carolina and a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College in Pennsylvania.
Bradley Leonard, Director of Content: Leonard comes to the NRCC from Capitol Hill where he began in 2014 as the Production Assistant for the National Republican Senatorial Committee’s studio. In 2015 he was promoted to the Media and Production Manager position where he oversaw all NRSC production, post production, and video training with senate campaigns. Bradley is a West Virginia native, where he grew up in Huntington and graduated from Marshall University with a B.A. in Visual Arts. In his spare time, Bradley runs a freelance business that specializes in graphic design and video production and post production. When not behind the camera or computer however, Bradley spends his time in the theatre as an experienced performer.
Abby Camp, Deputy Press Secretary: Camp comes to the NRCC from Capitol Hill where she worked as a Press Assistant and Scheduler for Missouri Congressman Sam Graves (MO-06). Prior to these roles she also worked with Rep. Graves as Staff Assistant after spending one year traveling the country consulting universities as a Leadership Development Consultant for Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women Headquarters. A native of Columbus, Ohio, Camp graduated from The Ohio State University with B.A. in Sociology and Criminology. While in Ohio, she worked on former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney’s 2012 presidential campaign and in the Office of the Governor of Ohio, John R. Kasich.
Political Staff:
Brendon Del Toro, Deputy Political Director: DelToro joins to the NRCC from iHeartMedia, where he served as Vice President of Political Strategy. Prior to that, his previous experience includes working for Indiana Congresswoman Jackie Walorski, where he oversaw both official and political operations as her Chief of Staff and spearheaded the Congresswoman’s election and re-election campaigns as her Campaign Manager. DelToro’s background also includes serving as Deputy Campaign Manager for Governor Dalrymple, managing campaigns in New Jersey, running field operations for the North Dakota Republican Party, and working on the staff of Governor Sonny Perdue in Georgia. DelToro is a graduate of Georgia Southern University.
Chasen Bullock, Regional Political Director: A veteran campaign manager, Bullock has managed several campaigns at the federal, state, and local levels. Most recently, Chasen served as the Campaign Manager for U.S. Senator Rand Paul’s re-election in Kentucky. Prior to moving to Kentucky, he served as both the South Carolina State Director and Iowa State Operations Director for Senator Paul’s Presidential campaign. In 2014, Chasen managed former Congressman Doug Ose’s comeback bid to Congress which became the most expensive race in the nation with $24 million in spending. Additionally, Chasen worked for Axiom Strategies as an associate, and has served in the U.S. House of Representatives and the California State Assembly. A native of Southern California, Chasen is graduate of California State University – San Marcos.
Mike Thom, Regional Political Director: Thom comes to the NRCC having worked to defeat Democrats on national, statewide, and congressional campaigns in nine different states. Most recently he managed Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick’s successful campaign in PA-08, winning by nine points in one of the most expensive and highly targeted races in the country. Prior to PA-08, he worked on Governor Jeb Bush’s Presidential Campaign serving as his Deputy Iowa Director. In 2014, Mike was a state director for the Republican National Committee where he oversaw ground game operations in two states. Mike’s experience also includes managing a Governor’s race, data director for a senate race, working in the Iowa Legislature, and for two other Iowa Presidential Campaigns. Mike is an Iowa native and a graduate from Iowa State University and Drake University.
Anthony Pileggi, Regional Political Director: Pileggi, no relation to Joe Pileggi, is an Upstate New York native who has worked on state and federal races throughout New York. Anthony most recently served as Campaign Manager for Rep. Elise Stefanik’s (NY-21) successful 2016 re-election effort. Prior to that, Anthony served as District Director for Rep. Stefanik overseeing all district operations throughout the vast 21st Congressional District of New York. In 2014, Anthony served as Deputy Campaign Manager for Rep. Stefanik’s successful campaign to become the youngest woman ever elected to Congress. Anthony also successfully ran now retired Congressman Richard Hanna’s (NY-22) 2012 re-election campaign and in 2013 managed a regional district office for Congressman Hanna.
Tyler Foote, Regional Political Director: Foote joins the NRCC from Americans for Prosperity (AFP) where he served as the Virginia State Director. Prior to AFP, Tyler served as the Deputy Chief of Staff and Communications Director for Congressman David Rouzer (NC-07). Tyler has extensive campaign experience, managing races at the state and federal level. Most recently he served as Campaign Manager for David Rouzer’s congressional campaign. He also managed Congressman Tim Murphy’s (PA-18) re-election campaign as well as Delegate Mike Watson’s (VA-93) re-election. In 2010, Tyler worked on a U.S. Senate campaign serving as the Assistant to the Candidate.
Chris Broyles, Field Finance Director: Broyles starts his second election cycle at the NRCC and first as Field Finance Director where he will be responsible for assisting Members and candidates in building their war chests. Broyles was most recently a member of the record breaking 2016 NRCC Finance Department as the Major Donor Manager. Broyles is a native of Cortland, NY and received his Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from Methodist University.
Meredith Allen, Political Coordinator: Allen joins the Political Department after working with the NRCC’s Independent Expenditure Unit for the 2016 cycle. While with the I.E., Allen oversaw the shipment of 144 ads and processed of over $73 million in spending. Now Political Coordinator, Meredith will be working closely the Political Director and managing the NRCC’s Patriot and Young Guns programs. Meredith is a native of New London, North Carolina and a graduate of the University of North Carolina.
