We have some new gardens about to get underway we are excited about (stay tuned for more details!), some new events and more! We are also super proud of working with groups like St Stephens Community Garden and Common Woode to help them achieve their goals.

Alongside this we are working with layers of government, statutory groups like Melbourne Water and forward thinking developers such as Neo...metro to place Urban Agriculture front and centre as a valued and integral part of cities.

There's lots to do and we are excited about the future!

Saxon St 3000acres Community GardenJune 7 · Hi All, A few updates on the Saxon st Community Garden:

Some of you may have noticed that the code on the padlock has been changed. Unfortunately there have bee...n a number of recent burglaries at 33 Saxon st, and we have had to make some changes to our security of the site. BUT the good news is that rather than a code system, the garden gates will be wide open four days a week, every week: Thursday + Friday 4pm - 9pm Saturday + Sunday 10am-5pm

3000acres working bees will stay the same as always: 2pm-3:30pm on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month.

If you can't make it down at those times to enjoy the beautiful grounds of this wonderful community project, but still want to be involved - send me an email to hello@3000acres.org and we can talk about the new code system.

Thank-you for your understanding. We are sad that we had to do this, but hopefully these measures means that the Saxon st project can be around for many more years to come!

See you at the garden soon,

Ellie and the 3000acres team.
