elcome to the Mizzou family, new faculty! As you settle in, take a tour of our beautiful campus (aka botanic garden), check out our world-class research facilities, and get to know CoMo.  We’ll see you  at 8:30 a.m. Aug. 11 for new faculty orientation (register now). In the meantime, here are a few of the resources you might need to become masters of the lab and commanders of the classroom.

University Registrar

Syllabus Requirements

Sample statements regarding academic dishonesty, the American with Disabilities Act, intellectual pluralism and academic inquiry, course discussion and privacy are provided for use on a course syllabus.

Promotion and Tenure

MU Connect enables instructors to communicate concerns and refer students to resources. It provides an online scheduling feature to set up appointments or group meetings.

Student Conduct

The Office of Student Conduct offers guidance for times when students become uncontrollably disruptive or threatening in campus classroom/laboratory settings.

Campus Writing Program

The Campus Writing Program offers retreats and seminars covering the principles of “writing-to-learn” and “learning-to-write” and encourages the development of writing-intensive courses by funding awards for courses, projects or initiatives.
