You’re invited to compare apples to apples in the Aon Grand Ballroom at the Pier! Cider enthusiasts are gathering at Navy Pier for the Fourth Annual Cider Summit on Saturday, February 27, 2016.
Spend a Saturday sipping on winning ciders from all over the globe. All attendees are sure to have a fruitful afternoon sampling from the hundreds of award winning cider at Chicago’s wonderful Navy Pier. The wide selection of tasty ciders includes ciders from the west to the biggest and best brings you new batches, new challenges. The Fruit Cider Challenge gives all attendees the opportunity be the judge of what cider will be awarded the title of best original batch. It’s up to you to keep this brand-new Chicago tradition alive!
The Cider Summit Chicago, presented by Binny’s Beverage Depot, is the best way to immerse yourself in four unique cultures who share a passion for cider. Regional and international cideries from England, Scotland, Spain and France will have their best batches and pour you 4-ounce samples – 8 total included in your admission ticket. With over 140 regional, west coast, and international batches, there’s definitely something for everyone’s tastes.
With two separate sessions, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. – 8 p.m., there is plenty of delicious cider to go around. In addition, Cider Summit Chicago also features food pairings and a new Cider Cocktail Lounge! Don’t forget to stop by the store booth to grab your Cider Summit merchandise.
There’s nothing better than great booze and Chicago views! We are pleased to host SBS Imports and the Seattle Beer Collective as they bring the region’s largest cider tasting to Navy Pier.
