The University of La Verne’s Department of Psychology invites applications for three full-time, ten-month, tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor positions to begin with the 2017-2018 academic year.

•Two positions are as core faculty members in one of the department’s three programs:undergraduate psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), or APA-accredited Psy.D. program in clinical psychology.

•One position is a core faculty member in the Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT)program and includes responsibilities as the MFT fieldwork coordinator.

Qualifications for the first two positions include a doctoral degree in psychology from any of the following specialties: clinical, cognitive, counseling, developmental, evaluation/measurement, experimental, forensic, health, physiological/neuro, or social/personality. Applicants with a degree in clinical or counseling psychology must come from an APA-accredited doctoral program, have completed an APA-accredited internship, and possess the ability to be licensed in California within 3 years of initial employment.

Qualifications for the MFT fieldwork coordinator position include: a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology, or marriage and family therapy, with licensure or license eligibility within 3 years of hire, as a Psychologist or Marriage and Family Therapist. This position will be responsible for the management of student fieldwork placements, monitoring of student progress, and teaching fieldwork and other courses to MFT students. The MFT program has met the requirements of the California Board of Behavioral Sciences for over 40 years.

The salary range for each position is dependent upon qualifications and departmental equity.
