After reportedly admitting to raping over 30 young girls, the Catholic church has reportedly absolved a priest of his crimes. The Catholic Archdiocese in Mexico has absolved a priest of his crimes which include raping of young girls.

Governor Ayodele Fayose has reacted to the pictures of the president’s wife Aisha Buhari with United States first lady, Mrs. Michelle Obama. Fayose revealed this through his media aide, Lere Olayinka, who posted a statement on his Facebook account. Mr Olayinka said that the pictures from the meeting look like a more photo-shopped image.

6. Breaking: Panic as fresh earth tremor rocks Kaduna community

Fresh earth tremor that rocked the Kwoi community in Jaba local government area of Kaduna state forced the residents to leave their home, the Punch reports. The incident was reportedly accompanied by a heavy vibration. An earlier tremor had occurred on September 19 around 3am.

9. FLASH: Drama in House of Reps over budget-padding scandal

The House of Representatives on Wednesday, September 21, was thrown into a rowdy session over the budget padding allegation. According to a report on The Cable, the drama started after the speaker of the House, Yakubu Dogara recognized Emmanuel Oker-Jev, chairman rules and business, to move a motion just as another member Aliyu Madaki was putting up his hand to be recognised.
