To administer professional pest control services you’re required to be professionally trained, and thereafter, register with Environmental Health Officers Registration Council of Nigeria (EHORECON). This will afford you to have an environmental health officer as a technical member working with your firm to afford you rendering a quality service to your prospective clients.

Course Program
The program is a two day training event where prospective participants will learn basic principles of maintaining pest control equipment, spraying techniques such as: residual spraying, space spraying and aerial spraying techniques, pesticide formulation, mixing and application, Health and Safety requirements, administrative aspect will not also be left out which includes letter of proposal, quotation drafting procedures, required license and application procedures, pest control marketing and sales training to mention a few.

Online learning offers you a flexible approach to pest control training, through this medium we send soft copies, audio and Video CDs of our previous training programmes to intending participants that could not afford the training programme through different mediums at an affordable fee.
Upon completion of this course, participants will learn:
A. Principles of an integrated pest management system with basic control measures as per pest control enterprise. Furthermore, the learner will be able to recognize and differentiate between economical damageable pests and diseases and make use and interpret sources for application or product management.
B. Learners will gain an understanding of sustainable pest control practices as applied in the domestic, commercial and industrial sub fields. This qualification focuses on the application of pest identification and control measures.
C. They will be able to participate in, undertake and plan pest control practices with knowledge of their environment. This qualification will instill a culture of maintenance and care for both the environment as well as towards customer’s infrastructure and operations.
D. Advising customers on preventative measures and suitable methods of control.
E. Inspecting customer premises on a routine schedule and reporting on the status of premises on levels of pest infestation.
F. Organizing and undertaking a programme of treatments using pest control equipment or chemicals to control and eliminate target pests.
G. Reporting on all inspections undertaken, detailing the programme of treatments and chemicals used on the premises to maintain health and safety.
H. How to Identify and differentiate between economically damageable pests, sporadic pests, diseases and symptoms using guides or resource material.
I. Understand the different types of control measures that can be applied in integrated pest management programme for pests, diseases and weeds.
J. Assist in developing a plan to assist the decision making process on the type of control to apply.
K. Post treatment monitoring basics.
