Editor’s note: NAIJ.com contributor Ifeyinwa Nzeka recently did a post on Nigerian foodies and bloggers to follow on social media. Now, she’s back with a (not-exhaustive) list of our talented bakers and pastry chefswho rule on and off the internet.

When you look at the baking, pastry and dessert space in Nigeria today, one can’t help but marvel at how much variety we now have in terms of the cakes, desserts and sweet treats we can order for birthdays, weddings and whatever occasion you might be celebrating or just to satisfy that sweet tooth or craving!

We are amazed at the options and varieties we now have where 10 years ago, it was mostly only about basic butter or fondant cakes! And how about the royal icing era some 20 years back and beyond? It’s just great to see that we now have so much to choose from! Kudos to the bakers and pastry chefs making this happen all over Naija!

These bakers are sure to be able to satisfy the sweet craving you might have! The decadence we now see is sinful! I don’t understand how we can be tormented with so much deliciousness by these bakers, crafters or is it artists? I mean! In any case, we are loving it absolutely and like Oliver Twist, we want even more!
