For Halloween, which takes place in America on October 31, Hollywood celebrities were dressed in some daring, some cute and some outlandish outfits.

Known properly as All Hallows’ Eve, it is a Christian feast inspired by pagan festivals. According to Wikipedia, it begins the three day observance of Allhallowtide, a three day celebration dedicated to remembering the dead.
In the West, on All Hallows’ Eve day, children (and adults) dress up in scary costumes and go door-to-door trick or treating, where they are offered a ‘treat’ so as not play on a ‘trick’ on the householders.

These days, the focus, especially among celebrities is sexy than scary costumes. Most costumes are often based on characters from popular culture.
Families decorate their homes with things associated with witchcraft, death and demons such as skulls, cobwebs and witch costumes. They also carve pumpkins into scary faces and place lit candles in them.
