The only thing I like better than talking about food is eating ~ John Walters
If you ask me personally I love food that talks to you, tantalize you with its aroma and keeps you and compels you to pick up your fork and relish it bite after bite.
Sadly with most of the restaurants in Delhi offering almost similar menus with a dish or two here and there, or maybe some gimmick here and there. Only a few places which make you anticipate the taste and flavors of next dish, Tian at ITC Maurya is one of them.
Recently I went for the tasting of “The End of Winter Menu” at Tian and let me begin by saying It was indeed a culinary Journey where every single bite makes you anticipate for the next, and each dish is a celebration of seasons in its own unique way.
I have always been a great fan of Chef Vikramjit Roy who always likes to experiment with seasonal ingredients and elements. End of Winter menu reflects just that, As the name suggests, the menu showcases dish made with ingredients available in the end of winters.
From amuse bouche to dessert it’s celebration for the palate. The menu focuses on each aspect and has great options for both vegetarians as well as non-vegetarians. While I enjoyed the Asian ‘Mole’ wind which is an interesting eggplant dish the non-vegetarians on the tables wowed for Prawns served with tomato powder, kafir lime yogurt, and pistachio. For a change the Hero dish of the meal here is a kind of anti hero dish “Who killed the Goat” I will not talk about much here because this is a thing to experience <img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/2.2.1/72x72/1f642.png" alt="
