The most respected duo in the magic industry are magicians Penn & Teller. I met them last year at their show, Penn & Teller On Broadway and they're really nice. I was just too starstruck to talk to them.

I loved their show and that's why today, I'm counting down Penn & Teller's top 7 best tricks. And before I get started, I want to know that "Closeup Magic with Little Cows" would be on this list if a video of the trick were online. But it's a great surprise routine with a kicker ending.

7. Lift Off Of Love!

This trick is one that they've been doing for a while. They put Teller in a large box and separate the box into three different parts, one having his head, one having his torso, and one with his legs. They repeatedly show little bits of his body while they are separated and eventually they put it back together.

But that's not it; afterwards, they also perform the trick with clear boxes so you can see how the trick is done. The trick appears to be supposed to make fun of the corny magicians using these acts.

6. Not So Simple

In this trick, Penn lets you in on the seven basic magic actions. Palm, Ditch, Steal, Load, Simulation, Misdirection, and Switch. This trick has Teller doing magic and Penn on bass. This is a classic trick that they've been doing for years.

5. Cups and Balls

This is Penn & Teller's rendition of the classic and oldest magic trick, the Cups and Balls. They do the trick the way everyone does it, with regular non-transparent cups, but they then do it using clear plastic cups so you can see how it works. I like this trick because, like, the smoke trick, it shows Teller's skill at sleight of hand. I met him, he seems so warm and nice.

4. Saw the Woman In Half

[[yt:NNsGGTt9CTs]]

This is a classic trick in stage magic. It's the Saw the Lady In Half trick. Pretty much everyone has done it. They start off doing it their own way, but as usual with the well-known tricks, they reveal it. However, they then use the saw to cut the lady's actual body in two. They then comedically show the guts of the girl, which are fake.

3. Coins and Fish

[[yt:9ByGtdqiUz8]]

This trick is one that I really love seeing them do. Penn goes offstage while Teller is onstage with a female assistant and a tank of water. He gives the girl a goldfish bowl and he takes water out of the tank. He goes over to the bowl and drops what is expected to be water when actually, coins fall into the bowl.

He continues to pull coins out of different places and the tank. He then takes the coins, puts them in the tank and a bunch of goldfish appear in the bowl.

2. Phone Teleportation

[[yt:wbDYjAeXMK4]]

In this trick, they borrow a person's cell phone, and they teleport it to a fish head. They begin a video before the trick starts so that the owner of the phone will get to see how they did it when they get home. And it is for that reason that I know how they did it (participant uploaded to YouTube).

1. Bullet Catch!

[[yt:sh7QSvs3Eug]]

Awesome. This trick, known as the Bullet Catch, has been responsible for the death of many magicians. It has Penn and Teller having two participants draw something on a bullet. They are loaded into guns and they shoot each other in the mouth. However, they have caught the bullet with their teeth. It's a great trick that's always beautifully executed.

And that's it! What do you think is their best trick? Leave your answer in the comments below.
