The highly anticipated Aquaman film has cast Patrick Wilson as Orm. Wilson recently in a question and answer session on Twitter has revealed some details about his character. Ocean Master is the evil half-brother of Jason Momoa’s Aquaman in the movie.
Actor Jason Momoa plays the titular character Aquaman. The filming is currently underway and Aquaman’s on screen, half brother, has spilled details about his role. Read to know more.
Patrick Wilson’s Orm In Aquaman
Patrick Wilson’s Orm is playing a major role in the Momoa’s sole movie Aquaman. As revealed in the comics, Orm and Aquaman shares sibling rivalry. The former wants the throne of King of Atlantis while the latter will battle it out to protect the crown.
In a question and answer session on Twitter Wilson has given some brief details about his character Ocean Master. One of the fans asked him, “who would win in a fight between night owl and Orm?” To this Wilson says, “Hard to tell. Gimme a few months.”
Another fan asked the actor about his work with Amber Heard. To which he says Heard is fantastic and it has been a fun moment during their reading of the script. Fans of the film Aquaman will know that Heard plays a pivotal character Mera, Aquaman’s leading lady. She and Aquaman will both tackle the perils of the sea.
Patrick Wilson Talks About Black Manta
Black Manta is one of the DC Comics villains. He and Ocean Master might plot a plan to defeat Aquaman and capture his throne. Wilson reveals to his fan that he has met Black Manta when his fan asked him if he has met the villain.
Yahya Abdul-Mateen II is in talks for playing Black Manta. Manta first appeared in a DC comic in 1967 and has been popular for his unique costume. His motive is to seek revenge from Aquaman. Black Manta is seen as a mortal enemy of the King of Atlantis and is a feared super villain.
It will be interesting to see how Black Manta and Ocean Master get together to dethrone Aquaman. But this task is not easy. Wilson says on Twitter, Jason Momoa’s character in the film is large and in charge.
Aquaman Cast And Release Date
So far it has been revealed that film stars Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Amber Heard as Mera, Aquaman’s loyal love interest, Patrick Wilson plays Orm, half-brother and Willem Dafoe plays Nuidis Vulko. This Warner Bros will release Oct. 5, 2018.
