ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Holistic Management International (HMI) will present Cultivating Community: Land, Food, Health at Paicines Ranch in Paicines, CA on October 14-16, 2016, featuring “America’s Most Famous Farmer” and author, Joel Salatin of Polyface Farms, as keynote speaker.

This extraordinary event will connect consumers and innovative, solution-oriented and passionate farmers, ranchers, conservationists, authors, natural food/health professionals and the Holistic Management® community while offering various sustainable topics of interest.

Conference topics include diet and natural health, watersheds, land resiliency, farm cluster communities, fibersheds, permaculture, holistic business profitability, heart disease, bees, “kombucha kamp” and much more.

Dr. Thomas Cowan, M.D – Holistic medical practitioner, author and founder of Fourfold Healing

Nikki Silvestri – Advocate for climate solutions, healthy food systems and social change and co-founder and CEO of Silvestri Strategies

Jessica Prentice – Local food advocate, chef, author, founding member of Three Stone Hearth and co-creator of the Local Foods Wheel. Jessica also coined the word “locavore”.

Brock Dolman – Permaculture designer, watershed ecologist, wildlife biologist and co-founder of Sowing Circle, LLC Intentional Community and Occidental Arts and Ecology Center where he directs the Permaculture Program, Wildlands Program and the WATER Institute

Registration costs range from $30-$395. Early Bird pricing for the Field Day and Conference Sessions is $250 through September 15, 2016 and $300 thereafter. Farm-fresh local food will be served. All events can be purchased separately.
