Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, our First for August 2016.
There have been a few interesting new KPOP releases over the past few weeks, however we’ve chosen the new release from HyunA. The song is titled “How’s This?” and it was released on YouTube on Sunday July 31st, in that time it’s been viewed over 5.5million times on the Official Hyuna YouTube Channel. Here are our reasons for choosing “How’s This?” for our KPOP song of the week:
Firstly the song mixes dance/club sounds with rapping well, it’s fun to listen to.
Secondly the video makes the song well, it’s fast paced and crazy at times. It’s also maybe aimed for at the male fans.
Finally HyunA is really popular 4.5million Instagram followers speaks for itself. She’s maybe better when with 4Minute, but she makes more money solo.
On the negative side; is it too sexy for KPOP?
