45th Annual Boynton Beach and Delray Beach Holiday Boat Parade
DATE: Dec 9th
TIME: 6:00 p.m.
Reflecting a Holiday
A flotilla of brightly decorated boats line up and motor south from the Lantana Bridge along the Intracoastal Waterway to C-15 canal in Delray Beach. The breakwater is perfect for seeing a moonrise over the Atlantic Ocean as participating boats range in size are adorned with lights, decorations, holiday displays, carolers and more. A panel of judges will award trophies and cash prizes in varying categories.

But before the Holiday Boat Parade even starts, there is a party going on. This holiday illumination show can be viewed in Boynton Beach at Boynton Harbor Marina, Intracoastal Park, Jaycee Park and in Delray Beach from Veterans Park; or enjoy this Florida holiday tradition with dinner at Two Georges, Banana Boat, and Prime Catch; in Delray Beach at Che and Deck 84 on the Intracoastal Waterway. Be part of the fun as the Holiday Boat Parade Boynton Beach-Delray Beach incorporates the spirit of generosity and kindness that benefits the U.S. Marines Toys for Tots toy drive.

South Florida Science Center & Aquarium @ STEM Studio Jupiter

TIME: 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. for Middle School, 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. for K – 2nd Grade and 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. for 3rd – 5thGrade.

Interactive Homeschool Classes @ STEM Studio Jupiter — Join our expert educators for engaging, hands-on learning sessions your home schoolers will never forget! Each class teaches a different science subject ranging from Geology to Kitchen Chemistry. December’s classes include “Ballistic Blast Off – 12/9” and “STEAM Science – 12/23.”

Get your passport stamped as you travel around the world on an animal adventure in this special program for ages 5-6! Includes up-close animal encounters, themed activities, take-home craft, and a special visit to the new panther exhibit. Space is limited, advance registration required. Mad Hatter Tea Party at the Eau Spa
DATE: Dec 10th
TIME: Noon to 2:00 p.m.
COST: $60 per person or $120 for both the tea party and “Kid’s Night Out.
Don’t be late for this very important date! The Forbes Five-Star Eau Spa invites children and parents to celebrate the holidays with Alice and her fanciful friends at the most curious tea party in Manalapan on at Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa. A portion of all proceeds will benefit Children’s Home Society of Florida.
The Queen of Hearts, Alice in Wonderland and the Mad Hatter will join the fun from noon until 2 p.m. Children can dine on “eat me cakes” and sip on “drink me potions” while enjoying the magic and balloon artistry of world renown entertainer John Watkins. Each child who attends will receive a gift bag and a special craft to take home.
After the tea party, children over five are welcome to stay in AquaNuts for “Kids Night Out” for an additional price until 8 p.m. Children will watch Alice in Wonderland while parents enjoy spa services, cocktails and dining. Parents can even attend the Wonderland Ball fundraiser at Eau Spa from 5 to 7 p.m. All attendees will also receive a 10 percent discount on birthday parties at AquaNuts.

Our Body: The Universe Within, the Science Center’s seasonal blockbuster exhibition is open to the public! Appropriate for all ages, Our Body literally goes “under the skin” to reveal the mysteries of human anatomy. Visitors will tour three-dimensional human bodies, specimens and organs, which were preserved using a process known as polymer impregnation.
