I could actually sit by my pool in the sun and not die today. That’s a win…which mean’s it’s finally the appropriate time to talk FALL FASHION. It’s time to get excited about upcoming trends and Bloomingdale’s Boca Raton is making it easy for local moms to get all of the pieces they need to be in style this season.
Bloomingdale’s Boca Raton invited Modern Boca Mom along with other local bloggers to lunch to learn about the fall 2016 trends as well as their NEW 100% Bloomingdale’s designer collaborations.

Several of the fall 2016 trends might seem…a little familiar. Prepare to take a step back into the 1990’s and early 2000’s this season. You might love it. You might hate it. But they’re coming.

Yes, apparently the Juicy Couture track suit is back. For moms, rather than fighting the nostalgia, I say embrace this practical look. Sure you’ll be diverting from your usual lululemon, but in the cooler months, you’ll be cozy, comfortable and fashionable to boot.

How cute are these? Most are small enough to stash in your diaper bag or wear in addition. I’m loving the rectangular shape and style diversity.
Break In Some Modern Mary Janes
The Mary Jane has long been known as a Goody Two-Shoes, but now she’s shedding her straight-laced reputation to become the coolest kick on the fashion scene. As someone who struggles at 5’10” to wear heels, this shoe is going to be my go to at work and fancy occasions this season.
Sophisticated Sequins
I’ve found my outfit for New Year’s Eve mommies…even if I’m wearing it at home in front of the TV this year!

These fashionable accessories are inexpensive, look cute and make a great gift. Whether you choose a studded leather choker a la 1990’s or a Victorian 1890’s velvet, anyone can rock this trend. Bonus points if you pair it with a bomber jacket.

Apparently tie-neck blouses are having a “major moment on the runways.” I think I could rock this trend at work or out to dinner. I especially love the denim shirt.
