This week I have learned:
that sometimes I can overcommit. Not too often, but this week I did. And then I got stressed trying to rectify my cockup. But it all resolved in the end.
that I had some sort of unidentified cold-thing for over a week, and a full-day in-person workshop yesterday brought home how not quite right I’ve been feeling.
it’s just a cold.
experiments with video delivery of a blog. It seemed to resonate in a way that just the words don’t. It takes longer, for sure, but not as much time as I feared thanks to the magical editing tool that is Descript.
NPS seems to make others cross too.
starting things is nerve-wracking. After weeks of hypothesizing about how it will be to interact and work with people, and imagining all sorts of potential challenges, it tends to all just work in the end (with enough subtle preparation).
I’m really not enjoying this winter tribute act that the weather seems to be performing at the moment.
the Meerkat cards can be quite useful as a cross-check in different circumstances.
I’m loving the macro mode on the newish Pixel.
