Now, back to our regularly scheduled Minoring in Twitter

Football szn officially ended at the beginning of the month with the Patriots beating the Rams, 13–3. Although Tom Brady did not register a touchdown, he was still the talk of MiLB Twitter.

At the end of the day Tom Brady is the best. Nobody can deny that

— @AnthonyChurlin

Brady is the GOAT. Nuff said.

— @seise_23

Brady is the

— @JJuancarlo45

Meanwhile, Mariners prospect Jarred Kelenic did yoga with an actual goat.

Anyone know if goats and cats get along?

bird watching with my son

— @clintfrazier

Pony, Polar, Round Rock and now… Cleaning Express?

I'm one of those people who absolutely hates cleaning, but if I turn on some music and get started I'm like a cleaning express that can't be stopped and end up cleaning the entire house.

— @Bwebb_30

Webb should clean Mauricio Dubon’s house and perhaps this unfortunate incident below could be avoided next time:

Still can't believe I drank my Girlfriend's contact lenses

— @Mauriciodubon10

Turns out a lot of people still play Words With Friends. Also turns out Indians prospect Ernie Clement is v good (or just v confident).

Words with friends, need some competition. DM plz.

— @Nolan_Jones10

@Nolan_Jones10 I'll let you practice a little before we play..

— @Ernieclem

White Sox prospect Jake Burger is watching a movie about playing a game:

Ready Player One.... best movie of 2018. Don't @ me

— @Burgatron13

Speaking of players who are ready…

When the doctor says you're healthy and can start playing games! https://t.co/PGGiEg4yy8

— @Mauriciodubon10

stlcards Alex Reyes passed his physical this morning and is scheduled to throw a bullpen session today (weather permitting). He's returned from injury with perspective and a purpose. Reyes: "I'd like to get off those prospect lists as soon as possible.

— @LangoschMLB

We’d like that too, Alex. And, shout-out to Nolan Gorman, who will become the Cardinals’ top prospect once Reyes pitches one more inning in the Majors (exceeding the 50 IP limit for prospect status).

Nationals prospect Jacob Condra-Bogan was preparing for Spring Training when someone put a hole in his wall.

I just wanted to get my plyocare done ‍♂️ had to move on to something that wouldn't break

— @JConBo

@JConBo We get it, you throw hard

— @DT4Cero

Pitchers and catchers have reported to Spring Training, which means baseball is finally back (basically)!

Season 17 starts tomorrow at 9:30am... (times subject to change)

— @DimTillard

@Lamantha21 and Luis Basabe looking . #SoxSpringTraining

— @whitesox

The form on @Baby_Jesus9 is a sight to behold. Slow motion majestic. https://t.co/alaA0wcJiq

— @Athletics

@caseymize04 is already bringing . #TigersST https://t.co/gx2dlDr3Co

— @tigers

This is a very special camp for Rangers prospect Scott Heineman and his brother, Tyler, who is a prospect in the D-backs system.

Bash brothers!!! @theineman13

— @ScottHeineman

Of course, not everyone has shown up to camp yet.

Aye @ronniedawsonn @TweetinJ_23 WHERE YALL AT?

— @DatDude_Ster42

@DatDude_Ster42 @TweetinJ_23 Friday✊

— @ronniedawsonn

@DatDude_Ster42 @ronniedawsonn Be down next week my brotha!

— @TweetinJ_23

Which brings us to another busy position player…

This month, the Mets’ Tim Tebow has been putting on his annual “Night to Shine” events, which give teens with special needs a prom night. Fellow Minor Leaguer Braden Webb joined in on the memorable event.

Thank you @timtebow and the @timtebowfoundation for putting on such a wonderful event! These are my dates for the evening Joe and Megan! It's their #NightToShine and they look absolutely beautiful! Gods blessings will always amaze me! #SpreadLove

— @Bwebb_30

Tebow has also been busy with his new movie, Run the Race, which according to IMDb has the tagline, “The Weight of the World. The Love of a Brother.”

Enjoyed talking #RunTheRaceMovie this morning on #GoodMorningAmerica. In theaters February 22nd!

— @TimTebow

He was also on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to discuss his elaborate proposal and his return to baseball. (He says he’s eating only boiled chicken and broccoli, hopes to reach the Majors and wants Fallon in attendance if and when he makes his debut.)

Perhaps Tebow could help Nats prospect Sterling Sharp with his public speaking.

Yesterday was highkey most nerve wracking day of my life... I can pitch in front of thousands of people no problem at all. But that best man speech in front of hundred people was NO JOKE!! @fsharp3 @aiacoboae ❤️

— @DatDude_Ster42

While we’re on the topic of a best man, a couple prospects shared memories of Hank Aaron for his birthday.

This picture is by far my favorite of all time. Happy Birthday to the greatest! @HenryLouisAaron

— @Taytram24

Happy birthday to the man himself Hank Aaron

— @Tyler_Step22

Anyone else have strong opinions about peanut-butter-spreading best practices like the Astros’ Nick Tanielu?

Some of you don't put peanut butter on both sides of the bread.... and it shows

— @TanieluN

Food tweets, of course, bring us to:

There's self control...then there's not eating any chips out of the chipotle bag on the way home. That's a whole 'nother level

— @ChrisBetts26

@ChrisBetts26 Still yet to accomplish this.

— @AJSimcox

@AJSimcox Some say it's impossible

— @ChrisBetts26

Minoring in Twitter: Prospects talk love, goats; Tebow goes to prom was originally published in MiLB.com’s PROSPECTive Blog on Medium, where people are continuing the conversation by highlighting and responding to this story.
