IMPORTANT INFORMATION –
1. Registration for appearing in the AIPGMEE 2016 is to be undertaken online at the website http://www.nbe.gov.in/AIPGMEE
2. Application form can not be submitted in offline mode / printed copy by post.
3. Candidates will be able to schedule their exams based on the availability of test centre on the date, time and venue of their choice. Candidates are advised to familiarize themselves with the route and location of the test centre. Location maps for all test centres are available on the website. No request for change in date/centre/session shall be entertained.
The prescribed registration fee of Rs. 2750/- (for SC/ST/PWD/(PH) candidates) and Rs. 3750/- (for General/OBC candidates) should be remitted through payment gateway provided using a Credit Card or a Debit Card issued by banks in India or through Internet banking. Candidates who are completing OR likely to complete their internship AFTER st 31 March 2016 need not apply for the AIPGMEE as they shall be ineligible to participate at any stage of the admission process

EXAM NOMENCLATURE – ALL INDIA POST GRADUATION MEDICAL INTRANCE EXAMINATION
COMMONLY KNOW – AIPGMEE FOR THIS YEAR ITS (AIPGMEE 2016)
CATEGORY – POST GRADUATION (MD/MS/DIPLOMA)
EXAM LEVEL – NATIONAL
CONDUCTION BODY – NATIONAL BOARD OF EXAMINATION (NBE) – IT WAS ESTABLISHED THE GOVERNMENT OF INDIA IN 1975 WITH THE SOLE AIM OF IMPROVISING THE QUALITY OF THE MEDICAL EXAMIANTION.
ELIGIBILITY FOR AIPGMEE 2016 : –
1. The candidate must be an India citizen
2. A candidate, who holds M.B.B.S. degree from a recognized medical college or a foreign medical degree included in the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and who has obtained full registration either from the Medical Council of India or any of the State Medical Councils after completing compulsory rotating internship shall be eligible to take this examination.
3. Candidates who have passed MBBS from states of Jammu & Kashmir & Erstwhile Andhra Pradesh are not eligible for 50% quota for all India. Meanwhile the candidates who where nominated by the government of india (under central pool seats) to do MBBS from these to states are eligible to apply AIPGMEE 2016 For admission . Those candidates must submit a duly signed affidavit declaring that they were nominated under central pool seats by the government of Inida.
4. The candidates who have obtained MBBS degree from the medical colleges which are not approved by MCI are not eligible to take the examination , However, a candidate who, after passing the final qualifying examination (MBBS or the foreign medical degree recognized by MCI), is undergoing 12-month compulsory rotating internship/practical training and is likely to complete the same by 31st March, 2016 can take up this examination, but he/she shall not be eligible for admission unless he/she has completed the compulsory rotating internship and obtained full registration on or before 31st March, 2016 or the candidate produces a certificate from the head of Institution that he/she will be completing internship by 31st March, 2016.
5. Registration with M.C.I./State Medical Council is necessary and its documentary proof should be furnished at the time of counseling and admission in allotted College.
