The third book in the Ilyon Chronicles Series, it brings to light the truth behind the mysterious birth of Jace, the half ryrik, and sets the story in a time that mimics Christ’s stay and mission on earth. It also brings to a crux the relationship between Jace and Kyrin, which turned out to be everything a romance reader could hope for!
As always with this series, there are bitter-sweet scenes that highlight significant moments in the lives of the characters that we’ve come to love. I, personally, have come to accept that this story isn’t precisely about happy endings, but about characters who triumph in the face of sorrow, rather than be destroyed by seeming defeat. The plot is a good mix of every element that makes a passionate and resonating story aimed at surpassing the need to simply entertain, but to pass on a message of hope and courage at a time when this generation of God’s children needs it.
If you’re in the market for a story/saga that tells of characters who conquer with love, win in faith, and overcome all the odds with refreshing style and grace, look no further than the books of Ilyon Chronicles!
