Carolling. Are we quite carolled out or have we heard only a few in the public places where we spend so much time right now? Many places, schools, parishes and even local neighbourhoods have had carol services often using such well-known ones that we don’t concentrate on the words. As an exercise study the words of as many carols from as many countries as possible. Then sing along of course and make sure that our children or grandchildren at least know some of them to sing to Baby Jesus whose birthday is just around the corner.
