Well, after several reports and speculations doing the rounds about Zoya Akhtar’s next directorial venture, the suspense has come to an end at last.
The buzz around Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Ali khan making her big debut opposite Ranveer Singh in “Gully Boy” was doing the rounds since a long time. However, it turned out to be just rumors.
Going by the latest development, it is the talented Alia Bhatt who will be now seen opposite Ranveer.
Alia and Ranveer will be sharing screen space together for the first time however, the duo had earlier teamed up for a series of ads for a travel portal.
“Gully Boy” is a coming of age musical film inspired by two real life rappers from Mumbai– Rapper Naezy and Rapper Divine. Co-produced by Zoya’s recently launched banner Tiger Baby and Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment.
The shoot of the film will start from this November.
