Here are some of the best places you should visit here in Luzon:

Taal



Taal is a third class municipality in the province of Batangas, Philippines. It is famous for its old ancestral houses and was declared a heritage town designated as a National Historical Landmark. It is also known as the Balisong and Barong Tagalog Capital of the Philippines. Usually takes 1-2 hours of transportation from Manila. Here you can explore the many historical sites, even without looking at your GPS, you won’t miss it, Taal town; you will be welcome with rows of century-old ancestral houses. You can also visit the famous Basilica of St. Martins of tours that stands 95 meters long and 45 meters wide on a plateau in the heart of Taal, the front resembles St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome. Visit the Don Leon Apacible Museum and Dona Marcela Agoncillo Museum, the house where the first Philippine flag was sewn by hand by Marcella Agoncillo. If you’re starving you might want to try the taal’s local delicacies such as tapang taal, sinaing na tulingan and adobo sa dilaw. This is the next best place after Vigan for an experience of the old-world attraction and rich culture and history.

Baguio



Baguio City is a highly urbanized city located in the province of Benguet in northern Luzon part of the Philippines. It is also the most popular tourist attraction here in Luzon. From manila it usually takes about 5-7 hours of transportation depending on traffic, but hey it’s worth the wait. Upon arriving there you can see the lots of famous landmarks like the  Lion’s Head along Kennon Road, Mines view and Burham Park and the beautiful Baguio Cathedral. The first thing to do is rest and go on a food trip! There are many excellent restaurants that suit your taste and hotels  you can relax in. Baguio is also known for their Ukay-Ukay, but be patient in going through pile of goodies to get a good bargain deal. Don’t forget Baguio’s favorite pasalubong strawberry and peanut brittles. Here you can enjoy nice sceneries and the chilly climate.

Albay

Albay is a province of the Philippines located in the Bicol Region in southeastern Luzon Island. The capital of the province is Legazpi City, where Mayon volcano is located. It is one of the most scenic and easy long drives to take. Travel time ranges from 9 -12 hours.Legazpi City in Albay are one of the most famous road trip destinations in Luzon. You can also visit other places of interest like the Ligñon Hill, The Albay Park and Wildlife, Cagsawa Ruins, The Japanese Tunnel, Kapuntukan Hill, The Embarcadero, The Legazpi City Museum, Liberty Bell and Rizal Park. Also you can feast on their local cuisines like the famous Bicol Express and Pinangat. If you want an exciting, and more scenery to look at, Albay is the best place to visit.
