During the week of May 18, we are giving families the opportunity to drop off school materials and pick up your child’s personal supplies and items using a “drive through” method. Thank you for adjusting your schedules to be available to the dates and times outlined below.
Parents/Guardians, please place all district materials (with the exception of iPads/Chromebooks) into one trash bag labeled with your child’s name and the name of their classroom teacher. These items may include library books, textbooks, art supplies, rented band instruments, etc. Please place this bag in the trunk of your car. These bags will be returned to each teacher’s classroom so materials can be sorted and organized.
Using the date and 30-minute window designated to your child’s teacher listed below, “drive through” toward the Link main entrance during your assigned times for curbside drop off of school materials and pick up of personal items. Our staff will place student personal materials in the trunk of your car and remove the district materials bag from your car accordingly. Parents, students, and family members must remain in cars the entire time.
Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate providing families with multiple children with one school visit. We ask that you follow the scheduled dates and times for each child separately. We appreciate your understanding and willingness to place our staff’s safety and health as a priority over convenience. With these same priorities in mind, we will not be scheduling alternative dates for family pick up of student personal supplies. We hope the two week notice of these dates, times, and procedures will help your family plan accordingly.
On your child’s grade level date, V-Learning will look different. An enrichment activity will be pushed out to students for completion only. This enrichment activity will replace your child’s typical schedule and assignments for that day.
