自從在 Lana Del Rey 的 Tomorrow Never Came 中認識到 Sean Lennon 之後，發現他有好多不錯的歌曲。這首 Wait for Me 有點俏皮而輕快的曲風中卻透露著無盡的悲傷。
第一段所指的應該是他的父親 John Lennon 被槍擊的事件。他感慨人都難逃一死，沒有任何原因。So take your time but don’t take mine ，他鼓勵人們好好利用自己的時間，盡力做好想做的事，但別拿你自己的理由，來影響到我，浪費了我的時間。Lose yourself but don’t lose your mind，你可以任由自己天馬行空的想像，但想像終究不是現實，別因為想像而喪心病狂，害自己與別人遭殃。
第二段 Somewhere between the moon and the sea ，指的是類似陰陽兩界交界處的地方，也就是生與死的邊界。他或許是害怕孤獨，害怕離開人世時一個人走，因此，他與某人相約在那裡，至少黃泉之路有人相伴能好過些。他願意等待，而且他也相信對方會等著自己。
第三段我想有點小小的嘲諷，嘲諷那些做了不該做的事的人不知懊悔，因為他們對於自己的所作所為毫不在乎，甚至已經遺忘。You can’t regret what you forget if only you could forget it，要懊悔，必定是對某事耿耿於懷，過意不去，但若你心裡早已放下、遺忘，那當然也沒有懊悔之情可談。
