I get a number of messages about the Condescending Group ads I used to throw into the Borderless Podcast. Glad some of you still enjoy them. Recently my friend Ryan told me he met some people like this, but asked for a more explicit profile. True, it was inspired by some of the people James Guzman and I met here in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, but I've admittedly both exaggerated them and fused this local behavior with what I've noticed in wider US culture in recent years. The Condescending Group Defined Basically, I consider The Condescending Group as being full of people who are almost constantly disparaging those they disagree with and posturing in order to appear morally superior and thus be found part of the definitively correct, influential social group.
