There are a number of states in India which have been severely impacted by drought. There are hundreds of citizens who are losing their lives because of the heatwave. LASSIB Society has started a small service for its community, to mitigate the effects of the heat. The Summer Water Camp serves free, cold drinking water to passersby. This is the second year that LASSIB Society, with the support of the citizens of Shobhana Nagar Colony has set up this service for the community.
While we all eagerly await the onset of the good monsoon, this year, we try and do the little we can to help our society.
