We are at an exciting stage of their life and looking for a Mobile / Web Analyst to join our London office. Reporting to the Business Intelligence Manager you will focus on leveraging data to generate usable insights that identify areas of opportunity for new user growth, user engagement, product improvements, and business operations.
In addition to working closely with the Marketing and Product teams you must have the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, small but growing environment and work proactively with various teams across the organization, including product, IT, business, customer support, and Finance. You must have experience in identifying and setting up your own sources of data and information.
Main Responsibilities:
Design and implement tagging and tracking on mobile and web platforms
Provide insight and analysis to understand pain points or opportunities in the customer journey and suggest solutions (for mobile and web)
Measure the potential opportunity of new features and products before they are built, and their impact after they are released - coordinate A/B tests on mobile and website
Report marketing effectiveness, product metrics, and produce actionable insights in a recurrent and ad hoc basis
CRM data management support, including data manipulation, segmentation, single view customer database, cluster analysis, and results review
Identify, develop and improve methods for measuring advertising effectiveness including Reach and Frequency, Brand Resonance, ROI, and Conversion Lift across channels, devices and media formats
Identify, develop and improve methods for measuring product and customer experience effectiveness
Ensure that data is consistent, valid, relevant and significant
Identify and propose new and valuable sources and tools for data and information analysis to improve current mobile and web analytics capabilities
Actively promote analytical thinking and data-driven decision making in the business by educating others
Main requirements
Essential Skills and Experience:
Analytical degree (ideally in a quantitative subject such as Mathematics, Economics or other area with strong focus on applied statistics)
Hands on experience in setting up, and implementing web and data analytics tools, mainly (but not exclusively) Google Analytics, Mixpanel and Google Tag Manager
Experience with online testing or conversion optimization (ideally mobile focus)
Experience working with business stakeholders to create and design reports and dashboards
Experience in analytical and statistical techniques, cluster analysis, profiling and regression analysis
Fluency in SQL and/or other query languages
Strong sense of ownership, a can-do attitude, and zero-defect attention to detail
Curious self-starter who is committed to identifying and solving difficult problems autonomously
Excel Ninja, 10th Dan!
Qualifications and Experience:
At least 2 years experience in a digital/e-commerce business or agency
Fluent in English (fluency in one or more other major European language would be considered as plus)
Have the right to work in the UK
Willing to travel to mainland Europe sporadically
