Readstone United Junior Football Club Under 9s are looking smart this season after Christmas arrived early for them when they received the gift of sponsorship from Pendle Hill Properties.

East Lancashire’s leading estate and lettings agency Pendle Hill Properties has demonstrated their commitment to the local community by announcing the sponsorship of Readstone United JFC U9s. The sponsorship has paid for new strips for the team that will proudly carry the Pendle Hill Properties logo.

Established in 1989, Readstone United JFC U9s play in the East Lancs League. The club was awarded the Charter Mark for Junior Football from the Lancashire FA in 2001 as an acknowledgement of the high standard of coaching and organisation. The club has gone from strength to strength ever since.

Promoting active and healthy lifestyles among children is important to everyone at Pendle Hill Properties, and they hope their sponsorship will help to encourage the value of exercise in young people, as well as motivate many more youngsters to get active.

Managing director Andrew Turner, who founded Pendle Hill Properties in Read in 2008, said:

“With our head office in Read, we’ve naturally got local links to Readstone FC.

“Plus, having already supported the local cricket club, we have seen the difference that sponsorship can make to local teams. We’re keen to provide this type of support where we can and think Readstone United U9s look fantastic in their new kits.”

Stephen Porter, Readstone JFC U9s manager, said: “We would like to thank Andrew Turner at Pendle Hill Properties for providing sponsorship for our Under 9s team. Without the generosity of a few people, development of our youth teams would be challenging. It is a privilege to be linked to a local successful business. We really appreciate their support and the boys are looking forward to playing in their new Pendle Hill Properties strip.”

Geoff Lambert, treasurer of Readstone United Junior Football Club, said: “Readstone was founded in 1989 to provide organised football for boys and girls in Read and Simonstone and the surrounding villages. This season the club has 12 teams ranging from Under 7s to Under 16s and they all play on Sundays in the East Lancs League.

“As an acknowledgment of all the hard work and progress that had been made, in 2001 Readstone gained the Charter Mark from the FA which has been renewed every year.

“The club are very grateful to the many sponsors which enable the match and training costs to be kept to a minimum.”

Pendle Hill Properties was established in 2008 and their dedicated team has made sure they are East Lancashire’s leading estate and lettings agency, providing a specialist residential property sales and rentals service. Located in Read, near Burnley, they pride themselves on offering the very best personal service and help buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants alike achieve their aims.
