Job Title: Relationship Officer / Manager, Business Banking

Reports to: Team Lead, Business Banking
Job Description
Proactively identify the needs of potential customers and offer appropriate financial services and products.
Research, identify and convert target Business Banking relationships
Research and Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, demographics and other information that affect marketing strategies.
Create quality risk assets.
Deliver quality customer service in response to customer enquiries
Build and maintain good relationship with clients leading to growth in profitability and loan quality of managed accounts portfolio
Prepare weekly and monthly report on marketing activities.
Prepare monthly performance review report.
Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Team Lead or Head, Business Banking.
Qualifications
A good 1st Degree in Banking & Finance, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Sociology or any related field.
Minimum of 3 years operational experience in a commercial bank with particular focus on managing a Business Banking loan portfolio size of N500 million and above.
Required Skills & Competencies:

Excellent relationship and people management skills
Excellent efficiency for handling client related issues and providing solutions where required.
Well experienced in the Business Banking space with a particular focus on handling dynamic transactions.
Ability to generate qualitative business leads and generate new business opportunities
Demonstrate exceptional strategic thinking and planning abilities.
Self-starter with mature analytical skills and ability to work under pressure.
Innovative and forward thinking, with a track record of executing new ideas.
Ability to lead team.
