The Internship:

This is an exciting opportunity, supporting Hay’s Travel as the Events and Project Graduate Intern.

·         Ownership of all company and consumer events

·         Meetings with venue personnel to ensure appropriate venue, audio visual equipment, costs and organisation

·         Carry out venue inspections for suitability for various events both in the UK and Overseas

·         Manage the organisation, delivery, communication and evaluation of the company conferences both in UK and overseas for all business areas

·         Manage and deliver annual social events, ensuring they enhance employee engagement levels

·         Mange and co-ordinate the organisation, delivery  and evaluation of consumer events both in-branch and Out-of-Branch and attend as required achieving set KPI’s

·         Co-ordinate attendance at Travel trade events

·         Prepare presentations as required both independently and as required by others to support company events

·         Manage and co-ordinate the organisation and delivery of High Flyer and loyal service events for sales divisions

·         Ensure effective communication with key personnel regarding progress of events using appropriate technology to track progress and meet deadlines

·         Ensure that customer service levels are delivered at all times ensuring a positive image of the company is maintained by internal and external sources

·         Evaluating the effectiveness of any events and making the necessary changes as required making continuous improvements

·         Attendance at events and confidently manage Directors/Senior Managers and staff
