The Faculty provides a robust infrastructure for the development of clinical academic careers and has excellent, cutting edge undergraduate and postgraduate education programmes for Specialist Public Health Nursing, as well as nurses, midwifery, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, podiatry and healthcare sciences. Strong collaborative partnerships are pivotal to achieving our vision and our academics actively engage with external agencies influencing policy development and strategic direction.
We are currently seeking to appoint a high calibre individual with a background in school nursing to a 0.5 FTE two-year fixed-term post to contribute to the delivery of our School nurse pathway within the Specialist Public Health Nurse programmes. With an excellent reputation and a proven track record of achievement within relevant healthcare settings and education related experience, successful applicants will be expected to contribute equally to the development and delivery of the Faculty’s educational provision.
Applicants for this post will be registered with the appropriate professional body and ideally have a higher degree. The successful applicant will join a vibrant academic community committed to pooling and extending understanding in practice, education and research to create integrated educational programmes that are unique to the Faculty and which make a positive difference to local and global health.
