The Centre for Language Study at the University of Southampton invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for our summer pre-sessional courses in English for Academic Purposes, with contract dates (including induction programme for tutors) as below.
Independent Learning Assistants help pre-sessional students to develop strong independent study skills through the delivery of study skills workshops and one-to-one advising sessions. The position also entails assisting the academic tutor roles in supporting and guiding the students’ academic progression and achievement
Subsidised university accommodation may be available for successful applicants who need to relocate to Southampton.
Course A 26 June – 13 September 2013*
Course B 31 July – 13 September 2013*
*Note: You should be available to teach for the whole period of the course for which you are applying.
