Applications are invited for 12 hours of casual assistance to help set up a project website for an Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) funded project on disasters and conflict in the Philippines.Responsibilities include:
Developing an easy to navigate and visually appealing website on a free hosting platform that has a good interface for images and video content.
Doing some web based research to find supplement the content provided by the PI for the website.
The main responsibilities for the post include:
Develop the project website on a free hosting platform, such as medium.com or portfoliobox.net, ensuring that the interface is easy to use and maximises impact
Create engaging webpages that enhances and optimises the effect of content presented; including video, photography, infographics, case studies and user-generated content
Ensure that in addition to being most suitable for project impact the website also contains hyperlinks to partners websites
Use website analytics tools to design a “sign-up” space that enables all signed up user email addresses to come reach PI email inbox
Web research for additional images and relevant articles to include on website
Previous experience of creating websites that may be provided as examples is strongly preferred
Interest in topic of Disasters and Global South is preferred but not necessary
