Applications are invited for the post of Lecturer (Teaching Focussed) in the Department of Electronic Engineering; a new department that will focus on a project-lead, creative approach to teaching engineering and high-quality research.
The post holder will contribute to the writing of modules and their high-quality delivery and pastoral care. S/he will contribute to the setting up of facilities in a new building and the admissions processes in the run- up to admission of the first cohort of undergraduate students in 2017. Thereafter, the role will include contributing to the setting up of years 2-4, teaching and laboratory work and high-quality research in engineering area(s) of interest.
The successful candidate will have a completed or near completed a PhD in Electronic Engineering or a relevant field and have research outputs that demonstrate developing research potential. S/he will offer evidence of high-quality teaching in higher education, effective team working, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to continuous personal development.
This is a full time permanent post, available from 1st February 2017 or as soon as possible thereafter. This post is based in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park close to Central London and Heathrow Airport.
