Job Description
LT Research is building a transformative global web-scale product with challenging requirements for delivering rich visual experiences combining cutting edge computer graphics, multimedia and innovative 2D/3D information visualization techniques. These experiences will be delivered across several screens including personal computers, mobile devices, Smart TVs and future media devices. In this role, you will be part of the core team working on the design, development, optimization and enhancement of the product experience across all devices.
Desired Skills & Experience
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science from top-tier university with world-class programming skills, a curious mind and desire to innovate
Significant experience and proven ability in computer graphics and information visualization with principal roles in the development of 3D games, creative tools/platforms, animation or rich content based applications on web/mobile/desktop platforms
Hands-on expertise in OpenGL is a must
Strong Javascript, WebGL, CSS3D and HTML5 development and debugging skills, including experience with libraries and tools such as three.js, phyloGL, scene.js, Babylon.js are a big advantage
Good understanding of analytical geometry, coordinate systems and other relevant mathematical concepts
Knowledge of general graphics pipeline development, desktop tools such as Maya, 3DSMax, Blender and the conversion/handling of multiple asset formats (OBJ, FBX, Collada etc.)
Understanding of gaming engines (Unity 3D, Unreal etc.) as well as GPU/graphics hardware is a plus
Self-motivated, energetic and highly enthusiastic about building products combining graphics programming, storytelling, scripting and design principles
Passionate about creating virtual worlds, 3D immersive experiences, and applying techniques from adjacent areas such as gaming, special effects and digital film making to create web-scale motion graphics that enable both interactive and lean-back experiences.
Deep interest in emerging platforms/technologies such as famo.us, Mixamo, Clara.io
Methodical, detail oriented and obsessed with performance and optimization
Being able to legitimately call yourself a hobbyist programmer with active participation in hackathons, open source, online forums etc. will be a big advantage
